Join Eye of the Islands Photography for five days on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Big Island has the most diverse terrain from the Volcano National Park to dramatic beaches and coastline to tropical rainforests. Many of the plants and animals you will see can be viewed nowhere else in the world. We will be your guides and camera resource. Your work will be downloaded in the field so that you can see immediate results. We will have digital printers available and will demonstrate the printing of fine art prints and notecards. ..... The Kona coast of the Big Island offers beautiful sandy, beaches and rugged lava rimmed coves, petroglyphs, and ancient Hawaiian fish ponds. Old coffee plantation towns offer photo opportunities. One day we will journey to the North side of the Island and explore Waipio Valley. We will spend a day printing our images on different types of media – you will be able to make one fine art print or a set of note cards from one of your images.
