National Geographic Expeditions | Travel to Galapagos Antarctica Tanzania China - Putney, Vermont

We invite the next generation of explorers to get out in the field and follow in the footsteps of National Geographic photographers, writers, and scientists. You might kayak into a remote fjord along Alaska's dramatic coast, study the behavior of giant tortoises in the Galápagos, hike across volcanic landscapes in Hawaii, or settle into a village in Tanzania and help out with a community project. It takes just a little digging to find that there is wonder—big and small—all around the world.... Private Journeys are guided expeditions geared for independent travelers who wish to explore on their own, rather than with a group. Bring your spouse, a few friends, or just yourself. You decide where and when to go — and enjoy access to the benefits of traveling with National Geographic...

Vermont Guided Tours for Photographers, Photo Workshop, Photo Walk, Photo Tour, camera review, lens review, bag review

Guided Tours of Vermont and New England exclusively for Photographers. Your guide, Steve Mermelstein is a lifetime student and teacher of photography and is a Commercial and Event Photographer based in Burlington, VT. He’s always been focused on capturing the best light and making the perfect image in the camera. If you desire, he can teach you what to look for and give you tips and advice so you can learn how to make the images you pre-visualize. Steve shot and was the primary photographer for his school’s yearbook and newspaper in middle and high school and landed his first paying job in his first year of high school. By the time he graduated high school, Steve had setup a full black and white and color lab and was working professionally as a commercial and event photographer. Doing this he put himself through College and Graduate School.
