Sunworld Safaris was established in 1997 and is still currently operating with its head office based in Nairobi, Kenya. We pride ourselves in offering select 4 x 4 safari packages, tailor made safaris and four wheel drive car hire. The company is run by Gabriele who is Austrian and Dave, a born and bred Kenyan. Our aim is to show YOU Kenya the way WE know it and to ensure that our knowledge is featured in the itineraries we provide. We are happy to offer you our advice whether you wish to experience a fully organized safari or simply rent one of our 4x4 vehicles on self-drive or chauffeur driven basis. The key to a successful photographic safari is a reliable, well maintained vehicle and an experienced and knowledgeable guide , as well as a flexible team, who are able to make quick on the spot decisions. It goes without saying that comprehensive advice during the planning stage is vital in order to achieve the perfect safari experience. Our vehicles are equipped with large pop-up roof hatches, to allow an unobtrusive view photography from the top as well as from the side windows. We have a large selection of important aids such as bean bags, tripods for photographic safaris, camera doors, special window and roof clamps for film crews and their respective cameras. As all our vehicles are maintained within our in-house workshop, we have the added advantage of being able to modify any vehicle to your specific requirements quickly and efficiently. e.g. remove seats to allow better access All our vehicles are fitted with a high frequency radio, which enables contact with our head office in Nairobi but at the same time also with other driver guides to check share information on wildlife sightings. In addition, each guide has his own mobile phone which allows easy communication within most parks game reserves. Quetzal Tours - Tierbeobachtungsreisen - zu den schönsten Naturschauplätzen der Erde

Die meisten unserer Touren führen zu einigen der letzten Naturparadiese dieser Erde und sind auf die Beobachtung von einer bestimmten Spezies fokusiert, z. B. den Berggorilla in Uganda, die Riesenschildkröte auf den Galapagos-Inseln und den Kaiserpinguin in der Antarktis. Alle Reisen sind mit einer durchschnittlichen Kondition gut zu bewältigen, doch manche Unternehmen wie das Trekking zu den Berggorillas können bei wenig sportlichen Menschen den Schweiß richtig treiben lassen. Daher empfehlen wir 1-2 Monate vor Reisebeginn den Körper mit etwas Walking zu trainieren.
