Underwater photography from around the world by Lisa Gabrielle
Photographic Images from beautiful Pembrokeshire in Wales. The coast-line in this part of the UK is magical and together with big skies sea and sand creates images that capture the essence of Pembrokeshire. I have been in the Caribbean, Turks & Caicos Islands, for the last 7 months June 06-Jan 07 working as a scuba instructor, taking a few pics when the job allowed. Now I have returned to the UK, planning to buy a dry suit and get back in the water as fast as my cold tolerance will allow !!

UnderSea-Images.com - Underwater Photography by Charles Erb
My diving has taken me to a variety of UK underwater locations, including Falmouth, Plymouth, Salcombe, Scapa Flow, West Scotland. My overseas opportunities have included: Fuerteventura, Menorca, Norway, the Red Sea and Sodwana Bay, South Africa. I live quite close to Stoney Cove and so I dive there quite often, trying out new equipment and techniques. I am a member of the British Society of Underwater Photographers BSoUP and the East Midlands Underwater Photography group EMUP ; I am very grateful to members of those groups and my dive buddies for ideas, encouragement and enthusiasm. Space and time do not permit me to display as many images as I would like, so I offer here a small selection of recent work. I am really proud to have had my work recognised with competition awards and publication. External validation is always nice! Please let me know if you like these images I d like to know which ones you liked the best .

Sam Bean Images - Land and Underwater Photography
Sam Bean LRPS, freelance photographer and journalist is the face behind Sam Bean Images. The website holds galleries of images that have been captured whilst travelling and scuba diving within the UK and abroad. A gallery of images that show different aspects of the beautiful underwater world, from seascapes to macro photography. A variety of subjects have been captured from the cute and charismatic blennies, anemone fish, damsel fish and seals, to predatory moray eels, sharks and schooling Bohar snapper. Traditional film cameras and modern digital SLR and compact cameras have been used to allow flexibility and to customise photography for each situation. Probably the most rewarding aspect of photography is being able to share the vision with others. This website is a snapshot of the photographs captured by Sam Bean.

Underwater & Wildlife Photography Photo Galleries Photographic Tips & Articles. I studied oceanography, so it seemed like a natural step for me to learn to dive and then to teach myself underwater photography. As a by product, I found I was able to expand my portfolio to include wildlife photography above water. I lived outside the UK in and around South America for a few years and these photographs were collected from these travels.

Underwater Photography UK: Welcome to the Underwater World of Great Britain
This is a collection of underwater photographs taken mainly around the northern coasts of the UK by Jim Greenfield. Nearly all the wonderful underwater documentaries shown on television are filmed in tropical waters and few people, unless they dive, realise we too have amazingly prolific and colourful life forms just off our shores. Conditions here are very challenging for underwater photography. Temperatures range from a bone-chilling 4C in Spring to about a maximum of about 15C in late Summer. The water is generally green and murky with visibility averaging five metres if you are lucky. But the green in the sea is the key element because this signifies it is rich in plankton and consequently supports a chain of life that is so diverse, it is impossible to satisfactorily describe in words.
