Tom Murphy s photography illustrates his passionate love for our wild clean earth. Tom s understanding of wildlife is apparent from the beginning. He photographs wildlife as they go about their daily lives, patiently waiting for each animal to share its life with him in the wild. We encourage you to take a moment to look through the pages and enjoy the images of our natural world. After nearly 26 years in Alaska, Nick has relocated to Bigfork Montana. His work has won numerous awards and he has been published in books, magazines and calendars. Nick is the past president of the Alaska Society of Outdoor & Nature Photographers and shares his knowledge by teaching photography in the local area. In 2004 after almost 25 years in the field he left his career in civil engineering to pursue his photography full time. To make the occasion even more memorable Mother Nature provided the largest single day snowfall Anchorage had seen in 50-years. Besides Alaska, Nick photographs extensively throughout the western United States and has recently expanded as far east as Michigan. While not photographing he is cultivating his talents as an outdoor writer. His first success came when he published an article of his adventures on the remote Noatak River in the Gates of the Arctic National Park in Moose Peterson s BT Journal.
