Black and White Dreams, the black and white photography of Ed Deasy - Charlottesville, Va.
The Black and White Photography of Ed Deasy. This site is an online gallery dedicated to black and white photography night photography and time exposures. As ordinary as the act of breathing, driving a car. We can even express emotion to other drivers by subtle and not-so-subtle maneuvers. The lighting was provided by the store windows I was driving by. This image followed many others, as I was fishing for the correct exposure with each set. Even when the exposure was determined, the image actually formed was determined by lots of random factors. I only ended up with two that I could use. I ve always been fascinated with photographs that reveal something normally unseen

Bill Emory Black and White Photography
Black and white photography essays and blog from the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Photos for me are studies of time, light, loss, longing and the nature of change. They are my heart and memory.

Tana Minnick Photography - Richmond, Virginia
Specializing in black and white fine art newborn infant baby maternity and birth photography serving Richmond Va and surrounding areas ......... My specialty is newborn portraits. Twelve years ago when we had our first child, we shot nearly a whole roll of film at the hospital, taking photos of our daughter's first bath, first time daddy held her, and other important moments. We got home a few days later, and having finished the roll of film, went to remove it from the camera, and found that the film had not been loaded properly. We hadn't taken a single picture! I almost cried. At the time, professional newborn photography wasn't being done like it is today. Besides the snapshots we later took of her, all we had were a few generic department store photos, in the same generic poses that all the studios did. What I wouldn't give today to have photos of her tiny fingers, her little feet, her long eyelashes!
