Hola a todos!...se preguntar n porque el t tulo a mi comentario, el mismo est dado por lo que represent para mi conocer Ushuaia..... el ltimo lugar del mundo , y realmente es lo m s hermoso que mis retinas pudieron observar y adem s es argentina.Siempre hab a visto los paisajes del sur desde las innumerables fotos que circulan por todas las revistas, diarios, publicaciones, etc., pero lo que me esperaba no ten a comparaci n alguna con lo que hab a visto hasta ese momento. Tome el vuelo de Aerol neas Argentinas con destino a R o Grande, donde me reun a con unos amigos que viven ah desde hace varios a os. Luego de un pl cido vuelo de alrededor de 3 horas y media aterric en esta ciudad linda... y ventosa. Mis ganas de llegar a Ushuaia luego de pasar la noche en R o Grande eran tales que casi cometo el error de tomarme un avi n para llegar m s r pido...a la vez que propuse esta alternativa me llovieron toda clase de insultos por lo que deb aceptar la amable sugerencia de hacer el viaje en camioneta. Comenzamos bien temprano por la ma ana, mate de por medio, d ndole poca importancia a los inacabables campos de Tundra, Lengas y ires. Hasta que llegamos a Tolhuin.......famosa entre otras cosas por sus facturas, como por ser el pueblo donde estuvo refugiado el lamentable general paraguayo Lino Oviedo. Ah ya el paisaje iba cambiando, se ve an grandes cordones monta osos con sus picos plenamente nevados...cada lugar que miraba era una foto que quedaba en lo m s profundo de mi ser. A partir de que salimos de Tolhuin me qued como solo...para mi ya no hab a nadie m s que yo y ese para so....los dos solos. Por fin llegamos a ese oasis de hielo, monta as y majestuosidad, no me daban los ojos para retener todos momentos que estaba viviendo a cada instante. Llegamos al hotel a donde nos bamos a alojar...dejamos los b rtulos y salimos a recorrer el pintoresco centro de la ciudad. A la ma ana siguiente salimos para el Parque Nacional de Tierra del Fuego La Pataia, creo que se escribe as ................ah acampamos y fuimos a recorrer todo lo que all hab a, desde campos de los que sal an conejos silvestres, hasta monumentos de verdadera arquitectura realizados por los castores, los cuales son considerados plaga, los mismos con sus construcciones le hacen un desorden al ecosistema ya que cambian los cursos de los lagos....pero no dejan de ser simp ticos.

landscape, nature and wildlife photography in national parks and elsewhere with travelogs and photo travel tips. I created this web site to show my photos and describe trips highlights. I hope that the information and tips will be useful in trip planning and the photos will give a sense of place. On photo tips pages I will also include some technical details about photographic equipment; what worked and what did not, look for this photo tips icon on the top of gallery pages. Landscape and nature photography is my favorite, but anything else that grabs my eye is fair game for my camera s lens. I plan to add galleries and other content regularly, so if you like my site I hope you visit again. Please view my for samples of my photos. I post process my photos as needed but do not manipulate the images to represent anything other then what was in front of the lens. Buttons on the left panel will go directly to slide shows of my galleries, the galleries button above, link to pages that include more extensive trip description, photo information, highlights and travelogues in addition to slide shows. I was taking photos for many years but this picture started a more serious endeavor in photography. Years ago I climbed Mt. Blanc in France. Descending from the summit, I was enjoying the views and found myself high on a ridge overlooking my three climbing companions, I liked the scene, at that moment it conveyed the solitude, altitude and aesthetics of the place. I snapped the photo with my point and shoot camera. I love this photo, whenever I look at it, it takes me to the mountain and the climb. I try to capture such moments in my images..... if it does so for me, perhaps it may do so for you.
