Their father made photography a part of their lives from the beginning. He spent many an afternoon, camera strap around his neck, photographing their world. (Although this photograph was actually taken by mom!) And later, there were those wondrous moments when the images would appear on paper as if by magic in their watery bath. Those images, the ones decorating the walls, and even the ones stacked in boxes are treasures. Some of Bridget and Sarah's most cherished moments were spent in the laps of their grandparents, listening to stories jarred from their memories by photographs. Grandma had a twinkle in her eye as she explained why she named their first dog Contact. She had been pregnant with their first son in that photo. There was a smile in Grandpa's voice as he picked up a photo of him by the side of a road. He gleefully recounted his adventure hitch-hiking to the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. We are ever thankful that photography was a part of their lives.We have all seen the blue in the stream, the truly precious moments...
