The most natural genuine portraits are created when people are relaxed and comfortable. Therefore, all sessions are conducted on location either at your home or an outdoor location such as at a local park. I ll be glad to offer suggestions for outdoor locations if needed. I absolutely love newborns! The best time to photograph your newborn baby is within the first 2 weeks of life. This is really important when trying to capture that fresh and brand new baby look. I love the look of a sleepy, folded up baby resting soundly on his her tummy. A baby beyond 2 weeks old is considered an infant and the session will be geared more toward infant portraiture. Newborn sessions typically last between 2 to 4 hours long. No rush--there s plenty of time for feeding, nursing, and cuddling! Infants and children are simply a joy to photograph! I really try to capture their personalities through my images so that you can remember how they really are. There may be some occasions where I may pose them to achieve a certain effect but for the most part, I try to let them be themselves. Sessions will last about one hour. Their attention spans can only hold so much; for this reason, I don t usually let the session last any longer. We want the most cooperation we can get out of them! Feel free to bring snacks and juice to the session for mini breaks. And remember: Bribery can really get you places with little children! Family and senior sessions are always a fantastic challenge. One I always look forward to doing. I love trying to achieve family interaction and a good looking senior posed just so! These sessions last about one hour.
