Olympus creates the Stylus 7000 and Stylus 9000
CES 2009: Olympus has announced three new 12 megapixel Stylus compact digital cameras. The Stylus 9000 (mju 9000 in Europe) is the smallest 12MP 10X zoom digital camera on the market, the company says. There's also a 7X version, the Stylus 7000 (mju 7000 in Europe) and, in Europe only, so far as we can tell, the mju 5000. All three feature 'Beauty Mode' that aims to smooth people's complexions in portraits.

Pentax launches Optio P70
Pentax has also launched the Optio P70 digital compact camera. Sporting a 12 megapixel image sensor, 2.7" LCD and 4x optical zoom that starts at 28mm equivalent. It also features Triple Anti-Shake protection (digital image stabilisation), advanced face detection of up to 32 faces and HD video recording. There's also an interesting Vertical Snap Mode whereby all icons on the LCD automatically rotate vertically for easier operation of the camera in a portrait mode.

Imagenomic hat mit Portraiture 2 eine neue Version seiner Gesichtsretusche-Software vorgestellt. Das Plug-in sorgt für Hautglättungen und die Entfernung von Hautunreinheiten auf Fotos. Nasce in Brasile nel 1970 a Quartel Geral, nello stato di Minas Gerais, dove inizia l attivit di fotografo nel 1992, anno in cui si trasferisce a Porto Alegre e, nel 1995, espone per la prima volta. Nello stesso anno si trasferisce a Brasilia e in seguito a New York, dove studia all International Center of Photography I.C.P . Negli Stati Uniti lavora come assistente nel campo della pubblicit e della moda e, come egli stesso afferma: l esperienza maturata in questo settore mi ha aiutato a sperimentare e adottare alcune modalit di lavoro, in particolare lo studio della luce e l utilizzo dei grandi formati, espressioni proprie della foto pubblicitaria. Ho assimilato questa esperienza lavorativa e l ho trasferita in altri settori della mia attivit , come i ritratti, un tema che ho eseguito e sviluppato in varie parti del mondo. Il ritratto la forma espressiva del mio lavoro nella quale mi riconosco di pi . Esaurita l esperienza americana, nel 2000 Salvino Campos si trasferisce a Napoli, che diventa la sua citt di adozione e lo spartiacque della sua carriera artistica. Attualmente vive e lavora fra Napoli e Rio de Janeiro.
