Simone Tarantino is a free-range photographer fueled by life’s curiosity, and his world knowsno cages. Forever seduced by the camera lens, Simone grew up looking through it, choosing photography as his emotional vessel,it is to him a direct, intense, and very much amused medium.Tarantino captures atmospheres of diverse places and people, which he then displays in large format in some of town’s trendiest mansions in New York, Rome, and Milan.Art is an experience best enjoyed on an everyday basis;the onlooker is to “intake” an image, making it his or her own. These two main convictions bring Tarantino to exhibit within housing and offices, adorning their walls with 2m x 1.5m prints. The trendsetting community of luxurious New York has welcomed this photographer with true enthusiasm, and more and more people want a “Tarantino Wall.” Trademark to his work is a sense of innocence with which his glance rests upon the least likely subjects, delicately distinguishing the most unseen and rare details. Adorning a space with a Tarantino work thus becomesa gesture beyond its aesthetic intent.

Lori Adamski Peek Photography - New York
There s a notion in the Tao Te Ching that a good athlete trusts the intelligence of the body, allowing the right move to happen by itself. A lifelong athlete, Lori Adamski-Peek is able to give over in a similar way as a photographer; the camera vanishes in her work, yet captures those pure moments of motion and emotion that tell a whole story.
