Street photography is the photographic genre that has the intent of representing human life in the variety of its characteristics and the context in which it consumes his drama, the metropolis with his innumerable street. Subjects are men, women, childs and elders who interact among them or with the environment, themselves blocked in situations which express happinesses, irony, uneasiness, social dramas. The image with his emotional content, becomes the testimony of a fragment of reality which has taken place in a zone of the world and allows everybody to learn . The street photographers have this capacity to observe in the daily reality the isolite situations and capture the decisive moment, in which the man is the unaware protagonist of dramatic events at times. --- La street photography e il genere fotografico che si occupa di rappresentare la vita umana nelle sue molteplici sfumature e il contesto nel quale si consuma il suo dramma, la metropoli con le sue inumerevoli strade. I soggetti sono uomini, donne, bimbi e anziani che interagiscono fra loro o con l ambiente, bloccati in attimi e situazioni significative che esprimono felicita, ironia, disagio, drammi sociali. L immagine con il suo contenuto emotivo, diventa la testimonianza di un frammento di realta che ha avuto luogo in una zona del mondo e permette a tutti di venirne a conoscenza. I fotografi di strada hanno questa capacita di osservare nella realta quotidiana le situazioni isolite e di catturare il momento decisivo, in cui l uomo e il protagonista inconsapevole di eventi a volte drammatici.

UrbanShots Street Photography - Street Photography is a heart beating to the rhythm of Urban Life, a curious look capable to find out the stories and hallucinations that every street puts in scene. I don t think street photography must necessarily be photography of real, breathing people. I enjoy chasing the parallel life of the anthropomorhic images that silently inhabit the city spaces. Revealing their solitary dramas and unraveling. And, why not?, picking those unexpected overhongs of ephemeral rebellion with which they take control of the city scene and claim their existence. Enrico Gallingani was born in Bologna on 2nd October 1973. He studies History of Art, Psychology of Image and Photography at the University of Bologna. In this period he s fascinated by abstraction and his photography plays with pure forms of modern architecture looking for bidimensionality and synthesis FieraDistrict.com . In 1999 after having taken a degree in History of Art, he starts to travel around the world. He discovers human figure related with symbolic universe of the contemporary society and he begins to develop his urban photography style. When he doesn t take new street pictures around the world he works in marketing and communication as a consultant to finance his photographic projects. In 2002 he creates EnerMedia Agency to promote and sell his work and to provide professional marketing services. Since 2003 he is member of Bob McClellan s Withoutofgrass group.
