Quinn Images Photography - Large Format Fine Art Nature Photography

A husband and wife photography team specializing in large and small format fine art nature photography. Martin is a native of Ohio, USA. He grew up hiking and camping various state and local parks around Ohio. Cindy was born in Canada but moved around most of her life as her father was in the military. She attributes her love of travel and different landscapes to the fact that although she has been to many places in the world, she hasn t made a dent in her list of places still to see. Cindy and Martin are now married and reside in Dayton Ohio. Every spare moment will find them either traveling to, or planning a trip, to an amazing place. They both believe that you can savor the memory of a place with photography and that leaving it as you found it for future generations is THE most important thing a person can do. Martin and Cindy started their photographic careers using manual 35mm cameras then moved to Digital SLR s after a few years. Martin also uses large format as he loves the detail and large size of the photographs that this camera can give him. If you are going to take the time to make an image it should be the best image possible. Both have had their images published in leading photography books as well as in various advertisements.

He primarily does art prints of his work, although various images have also been published in the United States, Canada and Europe. Chuck Beatty - Reflections On Nature Photography - Bath, Ohio

Chuck Beatty - Reflections On Nature Photography - Bath, Ohio

On this site you will find nature as seen through the eyes of a life-long artist and naturalist. With the help of friends and mentors I am improving my ability to capture what I see and share it with others. I hope you will enjoy visiting some of my favorite places as much as I enjoy bringing them to you. Many of the images in the galleries come from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, located a couple of miles from my home. Returning to northeast Ohio after 37 years away, I ve had the joy of discovering the quiet back trails of this wonderful urban park. The fall colors here rival anything New England has to offer and without the crowds. Other images in the galleries come from the ancestral home of the Din , in the canyonlands of the Four Corners area. It s a place where the history of the Earth is exposed in layers of brightly colored stone carved by wind and water.

Robert Royse s Bird Photography, Ohio

I am a birder and amateur photographer living in Columbus, Ohio. I have been a professional musician since the age of 20 and have been employed as the English horn cor anglais soloist and oboist of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra since 1986. I was born near Buffalo, NY, but grew up in Rocky River, Ohio, a western Cleveland suburb. I was fortunate to attend 3 years of high school at the Interlochen Arts Academy in the northern lower Michigan peninsula after attending the summer camp there for 6 seasons. I then studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a student of John Mack, the Cleveland Orchestra s legendary principal oboist. My first professional experience was during those student days playing the English horn in the Akron and Canton Symphony Orchestras. My first full-time gig was serving as the English hornist with the San Francisco Symphony for a one-year appointment. The next year was spent in the soon to be defunct Kansas City Philharmonic. My interest in wildlife photography originally began when I lived in South Africa from 1983-1986, where I served as principal oboist for the Cape Performing Arts Board Orchestra in Cape Town. Enchanted by the scenery and wildlife, I purchased a Yashica FX-D and a few inexpensive lenses and traveled extensively throughout southern Africa.
