Landscape photography Litchfield County Tom Heeter waterscapes vistas open landscapes from Litchfield photographed in nature digitally bold colors Tom Heeter inspiring landscapes. Litchfield County, and Cornwall in particular, is a very special place to live. The full range of seasons enhances the beauty of the mountains and waterways. Forest trails go on for miles, with wildlife every step of the way. The working farms move from bustling activity to the still of winter and back again, while those farmers that have moved on leave behind the timeless quiet of an empty barn. Small towns and villages have an unmistakable pride, as evident in spectacular Fall Festivals as it is in volunteers manning fire stations in the cold of February.

My love for photography developed about 30 years ago, in college, when I learned how to develop and print black & white photographs. I ve always joked that in college I spent more time in the darkroom than in the classroom. When the college yearbook asked me to work for them I was issued my first press pass. Since those days of black & white, my interests evolved into color prints, then slides, and now digital images. Above you will find links to several of my galleries.
