Colorado Photos Fine Art Nature Photography
Photographer Greg Summers presents his visions of Colorado. Click the thumbnails to view Colorado, Mountain and Desert landscapes, sunsets, sunrises, The Flatirons in Boulder, blazing skies, fresh snowfalls, the moon, roses, tulips, crocuses, snow in summer, daffodils, owls, Canada Geese, deer and other wildlife and the Boulder Gardens of Barbara Hedberg. .... It has taught me a new way to look at the world, to feel its natural rhythms and and to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me but seemed invisible before I looked through my viewfinder. In early May of 1999, I was walking through the families of Canadian Geese goslings at Sawhill ponds, a wild life refuge east of Boulder. I snapped away at the little fuzzballs . Then through the telephoto lens, I noticed one of the babies had fallen over. The gosling began to twist and turn. I knew in an instant the baby was caught on something. I had to go to the end of a barbed wire fence and back again. All the while I watched as the parents and siblings squawked and paced. ....

Michael Renner - Timberline Images Photography - Colorado
The majority of these images are captured in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in my home state of Colorado. However, you will also find beautiful images from places such as Ireland, Canada and various locations in the United States. While hiking through nature, I have attempted to capture the breathtaking beauty surrounding me in every image.

Fine Art Landscape Photos and Images of Rocky Mountain National Park RMNP: Photos of Rocky Mountain National Park by Erik Stensland. Are you looking for photos or fine art prints of Rocky Mountain National Park? If so, then you have come to the right place. Images of Rocky Mountain National Park is a branch of Erik Stensland s Morning Light Photography and represents one of the most extensive collections of RMNP photos to be found anywhere. From the lofty heights of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide to the gentle meadows of Moraine Park and the Kawuneechee Valley, Images of RMNP provides a view of this amazing national park as it transitions through the seasons. There is hardly a valley, mountain, lake or stream in this park which cannot be found on this website. New images are added regularly and most of these can be ordered as fine art prints to decorate the home or office. We also offer books, screensavers, cards and more. Erik also has a gallery in downtown Estes Park, Colorado containing many of the images on this website.

David Svilar Photography - Fort Collins, Colorado
A frequent comment when people see my photography is you must use filters or you used Photoshop. To get the colors and effects you see in some of the photographs I simply showed up in the right place at the right time. Usually that right time is within an hour of sunrise or sunset. I ve found that the difference between taking snapshots and an image that conveys a sense of feeling is simply making the effort to be at a beautiful place at the most beatutiful time of day. It has nothing to do with filters or Photoshop. Having said that, I do use two filters that I find indespensible: a polarizer for cutting glare, and a neutral density filter that makes it possible to achieve correct exposures during the magic hour of sunrise or sunset. Neither of these filters add color to my photographs and are accepted by nearly every photographer. Another indespensible tool that has received a bad rap is Photoshop. This computer program allows more creative control over my photographs and is used like a modern day version of Ansel Adams dark room. I do not and never will use it to put color where there was none before or magically transform a goat into the middle of an otherwise drab photograph. I simply use it to tweak my images to make them look like what I had envisioned when I orginally took the photograph, which is an accepted technique in nearly every photography circle. Hopefully that clears up any misconceptions about my images... look for more detailed explanations on how I...
