I started at the end of 1970 century to photograph bears in Finland near eastern border. From the year 1991 I have organized photo safaris. A lot of bear and wolverine pictures in Europe has been taken from my hides. Sometimes we have got a contact to wolves too. We have 40 persons luxury cottage in wildness and 7 hides near by in Kuhmo. Many birds like whooper swan, crane, been goose, capercaillie, black grouse, golden and white tailed eagle, owls, woodpeckers, tits are possible to photograph. Season in Kuhmo is 15.4.-30.9. During winter we consentrate on golden eagle, siberian jay, tits, woodpeckers, dipper and other winter birds, landscape and moose. We have carcasses 1.10.-31.5. Best time is 15.1.-15.4. and after that comes moving bird time. Like last winter about ten photographers Britain, Sweden, Finland took shots of pairing eagles from my hides. In south Finland you can photograph white tailed and golden eagle, goshawk etc. Best time is 5.11.-5.3. In November and February there can be 20-30 eagles eating fish or pig. We photograph Roedeer in winter and White-tailed deer from autumn to spring. From the year 1984 I have made about 20 books not only wildlife: municipalities, human life. Three of books handle bears or other carnivores. In Kuusamo I organize international Kuusamo Nature Photo Festival. 2005 9.-18.9. we have ten years jubileum and hope people from many countries come to see our program and photograph autumn colours landscape with us. This is a photography site, consisting of photo galleries of nature, landscapes, antique utility articles, aurora, astronomy and more. The images are taken by the author over the past twentyfive years, mainly in Finland and other nordic countries. I live in Finland at the Gulf of Bothnia of the Baltic Sea. Antti Below - Lintukuvia ja muita luontokuvia

Esittelen sivuillani pääosin lintukuviani, mutta myös muita luontokuvia on nähtävillä. Lintukuvia on esillä toistaiseksi yli 3000 likimain 340 lajista, mutta tilanne elää koko ajan sitä mukaa, kun vanhojen diojen skannaus etenee ja uusia digitaalisia valokuvia syntyy. Muiden luontokuvien osalta päivitys tapahtuu kesällä 2007, jolloin muutan tiedosto- lajinimet kolmikielisiksi. Ja ilmeisesti uudistan koko pohjan toisenlaiseksi. Alla olevia kuvia tai vasemmalla olevia tekstejä napauttamalla pääset tutustumaan eliöryhmittäisiin kuviin. Otan mielelläni vastaan kommentteja, korjausehdotuksia ja muita toiveita, lajivirheiden korjauksia, kuvatilauksia jne. Digikuvat ovat laadultaan nettikäyttöön käsiteltyjä eli kooltaan vain noin 70-120 kilotavua. Alkuperäiset kuvat ovat kooltaan noin 7-9 Megatavua eli huippulaatuista A3-kokoa. Kuvamuokkaukset on tehty alkuperäisistä kuvista irrotetuille noin Megan kokoisille kuville, joten kuvien laatu ei ole lähelläkään alkuperäisen laatua. Kukin sivuilla oleva kuva on alkuperäismuodossaan julkaisukelpoista tasoa.
