IS USM, Canon 70-300mm/4,5 - 5,6 DO getestet.
Herzlichen Dank !
Angenehme Feiertage und fotografische Highlights wünscht Ihnen
Ihr Traumflieger-Team

Macro Art In Nature - Michael Brown - Photographer - South Carolina - USA
This is my blog journal, a journal about the art that can be found in nature, about macro photography, and other topics of interest! I m just a typical American boy, from a typical American home in South Carolina, and one who enjoys exploring all the possibilities of capturing artistic abstracts in the world of macro. This journal has been created not only as a outlet for my thoughts about the world of nature photography, but hopefully as a place where others may visit, and maybe learn something from it. Currently I am working with various clients and art buyers throughout the US.

This site displays nature macro and other photography by Mark Cassino. The photos you see here are, more or less, nature photos with a small n . There are no grizzlies pulling salmon out of water, no cheetah s bearing down on gazelle, no eagles skimming the water for fish. It would be fun to go out and try to take such pictures but ultimately, for me, it would just be a technical exercise. I don t know any animals like these, and they don t know me. For me, it would be like photographing a stranger s birthday party - interesting, challenging, and certainly fulfilling in a way, but not drawing on a deeper sense of connection. I shoot the nature that I know and that knows me. I shoot the strands of the web to which I m most closely linked. I shoot the jays who come when I call and who in turn call to me. I shoot the insects, the rodents, the deer who live close, the common waterfowl of the area. And I do this in the hopes of engendering a sense of connection between the viewer and the natural world, in hopes of sparking an understanding that nature is not some distant place, far away, visited infrequently, but rather is right at your door step, right underfoot even on a concrete sidewalk.

Specializing in close-up, landscape, and abstract photography. As a psychological scientist, I am interested in visual perception, memory and the mind. I also teach a course called The Psychology of Art, in which I discuss how visual artists portray aspects of psychology - such as seeing, remembering, and feeling. As a photographer, I try to sharpen my own way of seeing, remembering, and feeling. The images here represent views that I have photographed during the past several years. The images are diverse, yet I think, reveal ways to represent aspects of perception, memory, and mood that I have learned in my role as scientist and teacher. Photography offers a way of seeing - and of revealing - the world around us. It enables one to capture a moment that is rendered timeless. Susan Sontag, the noted essayist and novelist and graduate of UC Berkeley , wrote, The Artist constructs while the Photographer discloses. I would add that the Photographer as Artist can construct a world that transcends the boundary of the print. A successful photograph challenges, arouses, soothes, or reveals. I hope that the images stimulate you in these way.

Fine Art Photography - M. Plonsky
My day job is a professor. I became interested in imaging in 1989 when I began using a computer projector to present my lectures. I started scanning images and learned my way around the digital darkroom. I took an interest in photography in 2001. Thus, I was weaned on digital photography. If there is any theme to my work, it s that I tend to photograph living things. Nature is beautifuI and I like to capture it. I especially enjoy macros because they show what we ordinarily don t see. I also enjoy shooting dogs & people. Here is a member profile about me from the May, 2003 edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine. I have had images published in books, magazines, museums, as well as used by businesses and educational institutions, etc.
