Laurent Dick is a professional photographer author public speaker and multi-media producer who specializes in unique landscape people and outdoor photos about Antarctica and Alaska. Originally from Switzerland, the call of the North first lured Laurent into its clutchesin the late 1980s when he traveled to the High Canadian Arctic. Throughout the years that followed, the North became his teacher and he became its student. The natural world of the Arctic and sub-Arctic nurtured his art, intellect and spirit, with Nature as master teacher. His identity as a photographer eventually emerged from these beginnings. From this began a cascade of important discoveries about photography and, ultimately, about himself.
