Peter Bolman Landscape and Nature Photography

Growing up in the North of The Netherlands, with the wide open landscape on my doorstep, myphotographic interest began with a passion for this natural surroundings. I am an amateur photographer for some 25 years now but it has only been in the last 4 years that I have started taking photography seriously. During this time, I have read many articles in books and magazines, putting into practice the knowledge I have gained along the way. I don t have a formal training or qualifications. My favourite time of the day is at sunrise and sunset when the light can be magical and the landscape quiet. My favourite subject is, as you might expect, the landscape throughout all seasons. Occasionly I visit Scotland for my work and I always try my best to find some free time to go out shooting in this part of the world.

Welcome to my personal website and portfolio. My name is Bianca van der Werf and I was born on the 11th of October 1972 in The Hague, the Netherlands. Always drawing and painting as a child, so it was no big surprise that I ended up at the Royal Academy of Art in the same town a few years later. Here I studied Architectural Design and it was one of the greatest periods in my life so far After four years the world was enriched with a new interior designer! The next period I worked for some Interior Design Companies in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. But in 2005 I totally fell in love with photography . My boyfriend got himself a new camera and I obtained his old one. It was as if I was hit by lightning!! It has become a new journey to inject all my feelings and techniques in one image, everything fell into place! It took me a little while to learn the basics of photography and in 2006 I got myself some new equipment too . Now I can t look at the world without thinking in frames anymore, I am totally addicted!
