Ilya Genkin Photography

Ilya Genkin Photography

Ilya Genkin Photography Australian landscape and cityscape photography stock photography calendars and books prints travel photography licensing license image. I am a freelance landscape and travel photographer from Sydney, Australia. I started photography back in 1980 as hobby but later then landscape photography became my true passion during mountaineering in Northern Tien-Shan, Kazakhstan. I ve been inspired by beauty of the high mountains and by numerous landscape and nature photographers, from great names such as Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell, Art Wolfe, John Fielder and many others. Landscape photography for me is my very personal way to capture and to share the beauty of our world with the other people through unique images. I always try to get to know a place before shooting. Learn your subject, know your subject, return to the same place over and over again, at different times of day, during different seasons, and under variable weather conditions. This takes time and a lot of effort but the reward is high. I also have a collection of imagery available for stock photo uses in subject matters covering outdoor and nature photography, Australian landscapes and icons, business and finance, food and beverages, lifestyle, industry and concepts.

The David Hugh Evans Collection - Fine Art Landscape Photography

The David Hugh Evans Collection - Fine Art Landscape Photography

The David Hugh Evans Collection - Fine Art Landscape Photography. David Evans Photography. Award-winning panoramic landscape photographs. David believes landscape photography is the art of painting with light to create an image, not merely to capture it.This gentle craft appears at a glance to be an easy feat, and yet is so utterly difficult. Subjects cannot be manufactured, the light cannot be forced, and patience is not an option to be discarded. Darkness is the canvas. Slowly and carefully the light is allowed to bleed onto the film.David has a distinctive style, one he calls ‘slow photography’. His images frequently have an ethereal and painterly quality, a result of slow film and long shutter speeds ranging from seconds to hours. He has well and truly earned his reputation as one of the finest image-makers in Australia.

Tony Knight Photography - Official website of Award-winning Australian Landscape photographer

Tony Knight Photography - Official website of Award-winning Australian Landscape photographer

Using light as his paint, Tony Knight discovers beauty within the land we all share through his unique brand of landscape photography. He has the ability to capture a moment that combines the technical, visual and spiritual, producing images that are not only visually stunning but always make you wish you had been there . Photography is Tony s escape from the business world, where he owns and runs a leading commercial printing company. Whether at work or play, Tony is always striving for perfection, and this has seen him win numerous awards for his photography as well. Although awards are flattering, I am not trying to change the world with my images - just reminding people of the beauty that still exists says Tony. A passionate photographer for over three decades, Tony has spent the past 6 years almost exclusively photographing the natural wilderness of Wilson s Promontory, Victoria. Following the 2005 fires, Tony was commissioned by Parks Victoria to photograph and document the regeneration and regrowth of this area. His vast collection of images show the many faces of the Prom and are to be printed in a high-end coffee table book, complimenting his limited edition prints.
