Aldo Pavan è giornalista e fotografo free lance. Come attività prevalente si occupa di reportage di viaggio. Fino ad ora ha visitato più di un centinaio di nazioni nei cinque continenti, pubblicando libri e collaborando con articoli e reportage fotografici per riviste e news magazine italiani e stranieri. E' stato docente di fotoreportage presso il master dell'Istituto di formazione per il giornalismo De Martino di Milano, una delle più note scuole italiane del settore. Inoltre si dedica alla sperimentazione fotografica addentrandosi nei territori della produzione artistica e creativa. I suoi lavori sono stati esposti in varie mostre.... The Palestinian villagers living on the southern border of the West Bank near to Hebron have been fighting against eviction and the expropriation of their land over the last 15 years. I have posted some background information maps and documents about the Hebron situation here. Promised Land was featured on ZNet in September 2002. I have also written a brief essay about the larger implications of the Hebron case. -- Hazaratown is a refugee township on the outskirts of Quetta, Pakistan. I was there in November 2001 to learn about the experience of the Hazaras at the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

It is to be objective, and clear in your shots to generate the truth in the news in an ethical manner. Peace journalism allows the reader to come to their own conclusions regarding current events without the tainted reporting views. Susan developed a citizen identity workshop for those who are in conflict to help generate individual and community identity, because in conflict, cultural heritage and community placement becomes in the background of ones life. In turn, this encourages self-reflection and individual and community placement in the mist of a crisis. This concept is one for providing a tool for the individuals themselves to express their voice to the outside world, rather than the journalist expressing it for them.
