Marco is a professional photographer and currently lives in London and Edinburgh, works all around the British Isles. Style is an individual characteristic and is best depicted through raw, energetic images taken in the bat of an eye lid. This is a crucial element in Marco s photographic work, he strives to come up with new ideas and angles to capture outstanding illustrations of every day life. He is experienced in portraying city life and buzz but also landscape and aspects of rural culture which are fast disappearing. He brings his unique perspective to a variety of subjects. My father had a shop of photographic professional equipment and material and during one summer holidays I was more or less forced into being interested in photography, I read and learnt in particular about Ansel Adams and some Italian photographer as Fini, Ferreto e Boconer while playing with Ilford paper and old box cameras from Lamperti & Garbagnati. I loved the strong contrast and resolutions in Black and White photos they managed to obtain. I found myself constantly watching the light changing and mentally framing pictures. It soon became an addiction that has taught me to see , leaving me little time to simply look . Photography is very intuitive to me. It is strong relationship with the subject that drives me to seek possible combination of subject and light.

Photojournalist Anna Kari explores social and human rights stories in Afric and Europe. Anna K ri is a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer based in London. Her work centres around humanitarian issues of migration, refugees, identity and human rights. She travels and works extensively in the Balkans, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Southern Africa, on long term personal projects, as well as jobs for charities and media. With her 5 year long-term project The Roma refugees from Kosovo she has won a Metro young photographers bursary award, The Tom Webster Award and was the runner up in the Ian Parry Awards. Anna s photography has been published by the Guardian, Independent, Le Monde 2, Politiken, Sunday Times Magazine and many others. She works for charities and humanitarian NGO s such as Save the Children, Red Cross and Amnesty. Her projects have been exhibited extensively at among other places the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, University of Cantebury, The Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, The European Parliament, The Imperial War Museum and Proud Gallery in London. Anna K ri was selected for the 2005 World Press Masterclass.

Born in Palermo, Sicily 1975, photojournalist Mimi Mollica has been based in London since 1996. Mimi s photo essays focus on social issues and troubled areas affecting countries including Pakistan, Northern Ireland, Cuba, Brazil, India, Romania and Africa. His editorial reportages have been widely published in various British and foreign publications, and exhibited in numerous solo and collective shows. Mimi was granted second place at the Observer Hodge Award 2005 for his reportage on the aftermath of the 7 7 London bombings. More recently Mimi was shortlisted for The Press Photographer s Year 2007 and won the entry to the Creative Review Photography Annual 2007 with his work Baobab . Mimi s work from the Amazon forest has been included in the UN Calendar 2008 themed on biodiversity.
