Eduardo Machuca - Wedding Photography Fotografia de Bodas
My philosophy refers to my style and attitude towards wedding photography. There are four or five generally accepted styles for wedding photography. These are: Traditional, Photojournalistic, Creative, Illustrative and Fine-Art. In brief, Traditional refers to formal portraits, posed, of the bride and groom, family and friends, and candid photographs during the wedding. Photojournalistic is a bit contrary to traditional in the sense that there are no posed photographs; the photographer acts like a graphic reporter and images are taken without giving posing instructions nor the couple and party being aware of the photographer. The Creative style refers to when the photographer takes advantage of beautiful surroundings and lighting situations and angles and places the subject within and then, let them free to be themselves. Thus, capturing more spontaneous moments. This style uses the photographer s artistic judgment and allows him her to create images, rather than capturing moments such as in the other two styles above. The Creative style is sometimes called, faux-photojournalism .
