Any formal group shots that you require are planned well in advance so that they can be taken with the minimum of fuss, leaving you plenty of time for the relaxed fun photographs and your champagne!We offer a complimentary engagement portrait sitting, in the March Studio, to any couples wishing to consider making a booking. This is without any obligation to proceed and includes a free print. You will learn about posing for the formal wedding pictures, see what is on offer, and receive a fixed price written quotation for your own wedding, that is tailored to your requirements. Most of our clients live locally and we are happy to travel within a 20 mile radius at no extra cost. It is also easier to meet up more often if there is no great distance to travel.However, we are available for weddings further afield and have taken bookings in Cambridge, Peterborough, King's Lynn, Huntingdon and, at special request, in Yorkshire and Scotland.We have not yet travelled abroad but if you are willing to accommodate us on your private charter jet to Barbados and provide a five star hotel room for a week or two would have no objections to covering your big day in the Caribbean.

I m a photographer based in Cambridge and I specialise in photographing weddings and portraits. Most of my work is in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk & London but I also travel nationally and internationally if requested. I photograph weddings in a photojournalistic style, which means that I act as an unobtrusive observer on the day. There are lots of different names for this style including reportage and documentary wedding photography but the best way to find out about the way that I work is to look at my online galleries and then read about my approach to wedding photography. Weddings vary greatly - different people, different guests, different venues, different styles. This variety is always exciting. I take a photojournalistic approach to photographing weddings, which means that I act as an unobtrusive observer on the day. I place the emphasis on observation rather than on formal poses, producing photos that reflect the key moments and memories of your wedding day. Working wherever possible with available light only, I take pictures that capture the freshness of the wedding as it occurs. Whilst I predominantly work in black and white, I do use colour where appropriate, and your final set of pictures will contain an evocative mixture of the two.
