Digital-Exposures - An online digital photo gallery of Alaska

Digital-Exposures - An online digital photo gallery of Alaska

My husband and I have made the trip from Florida to Alaska for the past two summers in our motor home with our two cats and two birds. We both enjoy photography and Alaska offers spectacular unspoiled beauty and abundant wildlife. We are fortunate to have the entire summer to spend leisurely wandering throughout the vastness of Alaska s scenery. There is so much to explore and you certainly gain a different perspective of this vast wilderness whether traveling by sea on the State Ferry system or by land as we do in our motorhome. No trip is ever the same but we always incorporate numerous fishing trips both for Halibut in Cook Inlet and Salmon down in Homer.

As my interest developed into, what I consider a passion, I began taking trips to Oklahoma s my home state state parks, lakes and just driving back roads searching for opportunites to photograph. Viewing the world through a camera lens has given me a new enjoyment of life. As I continue to teach myself the technical aspects of photography, I am in search of my own unique perspective, and strive to continue to improve my knowledge and photographic abilities. I welcome you to visit my site often as I learn and grow as an artist and my passions emerge.

John Niehaus Photography - Unnecessary Beauty Gallery - A photo gallery of nature and wildlife

Nature can hold the most unimaginable and wholly unnecessary beauty. We are so busy sometimes, living, we ignore the beauty before us. Those small moments are like unexpected gifts. Nature can also be unrelenting and vicious, and it waits for no man. This is a gallery of my humble attempts to capture the precious beauty of nature and wildlife through photography and paint. The gallery contains nature, sunset and flower photos as well as wildlife photos. There are also a few black and white and panorama nature photos. I hope you enjoy them.

Flower photography gallery. These floral photographs were taken in California and in my travels to Washington Georgia and Victoria BCMy name is K Millar and I am an amateur photographer living in Northern California. I grew up on the California coast with a love of the outdoors. On a trip to Washington in 2000, I fell in love with the Dahlia and Rose gardens at Point Defiance Park and tried to capture that beauty with my camera. The results pleased me tremendously. I never realized how intricate flowers are when captured close up.
