Daisyfly was started because I simply wanted to share my photos with family, friends, and others who were interested in photography. Photography has been a hobby of mine for a couple of years now, and I felt it was time to bring my hobby to the next level and promote my photos on my own website. I enjoy taking pictures of natural landscapes and am still learning about the true art of photography. Nature Photography - Flower Photography

Flower photography gallery. These floral photographs were taken in California and in my travels to Washington Georgia and Victoria BCMy name is K Millar and I am an amateur photographer living in Northern California. I grew up on the California coast with a love of the outdoors. On a trip to Washington in 2000, I fell in love with the Dahlia and Rose gardens at Point Defiance Park and tried to capture that beauty with my camera. The results pleased me tremendously. I never realized how intricate flowers are when captured close up.

Luc Selve Photographe Amateur Athlone - Irlande

I am in the models photography since more than 6 years now. My only aim is to take pleasure and, if possible, give pleasure to the spectator. I have a perfectionist way in everything that I do, as well during the shooting than on the processing of the pictures. Thus I have learned to use Photoshop and with a bit of experience I manage to carry the rework that I desire. I am currently using a Canon EOS 5D with a 50 1.4 or a macro objective, that I particularly like. In fact, I have began to take interest in photography young, around 10 I think. At this time, I was using my father s SLR, a Minolta all manual. Of course, I was taking photos during family meetings. I had also joined a photo club were I was performing black and white developments. For me, all that has allowed me to develop my eye and my interest. Much later, I have had my own camera an EOS 5, that I have kept a number of years. It is through the compliments of a friend on my pictures that I have decided to really get involved in portraits and nudes. I have then changed my camera for a EOS 1N-RS, a solid professional SLR and since 1 year I shoot in digital with the 5D. I have had the chance to show my work at several exhibitions in Nancy and Paris and in a few publications in photography magazines and in newspapers. I live since one year in Athlone, a town in the centre of Ireland. My photographic activity has changed owing the difficulty to find models in the surroundings. So, I take pleasure in shooting the beautiful landscapes of the green island.

I m a British based photographer and writer living and working in Sussex. I ve been mad about photography since schooldays when I first photographed the school chickens in glorious black and white! Emerging triumphant from the darkroom clutching my very own murky 6 x 4 print I knew I was well and truly hooked. I ve progressed now from chickens although I never pass up an opportunity to snap them, especially leghorns and I photograph everything from millipedes to morris dancers. My inspiration is constantly sparked by the fantastic work of master photographers such as George McCarthy, the late and sadly missed Galen Rowell 1940-2002 and the outstanding floral pictures of Imogen Cunningham 1883-1976 .
