The imagery found in Lauri s portfolio is the visual expression of the awe and wonder she feels about the world around her; the extraordinary she sees in the ordinary. If ever doubting a creator, all she has to do is look around to see that the absence of God is not possible. - At times, her photographs are carried out with spontaneity; and at others, with purpose and a project in mind. Each capture is meticulously worked to achieve a final image that expresses what was seen and felt by the photographer during composition. - Lauri uses various archival printing methods and papers for presentation of her work: B W originals are all printed as silver gelatin fiber prints, and color originals as high-gloss C-prints or encaustic wax photographs, and are signed and numbered in limited editions of 100 or less. Limited edition giclee prints on 100 cotton rag paper are also available. Reminiscent of fine platinum prints, and using pigmented inks, they will last for generations. Some images may be printed on artist s canvas, stretched and framed. These will be limited to 5 or less per image. A certificate of authenticity will be delivered with every limited edition print. A sample of the certificate can be viewed here and the details specific to each image are included in the enlarged views.
