Cynthia van de Loo is a Canterbury based professional artist and freelance photographer. Being creative has been a life long passion of Cynthia s. She uses creativity as a revealing process, for her it is an inner experience where she can explore the true self. Exploration of the outer world has also given understanding of the interconnectedness of All that is. Photography characterised by creativity style and a passion for the art. I have been fortunate to be able to spend most of my working life doing something that I am passionate about creating images through photography. My career to date has been involved with photographing people for commissioned portraits, weddings, fashion, corporate clients, and also some special projects such as the Caring Moments exhibition. I always have my camera with me, and so have also captured numerous images of scenic locations and still lifes which have been published in books, calendars and greetings cards. Although I have received national and international recognition for my photography, I believe that I am only as good as my next image. My desire is to bring my innate sense of style and design to each shoot that I do, and to capture the essence of the subjects that I am photographing in a way that will bring them lasting pleasure and joy.

Rita Dibert photographic artist Wanganui artist Photography pigment painting painting Internationally recognised photographer based in New Zealand Wanganui Teaches at the Quay School of Arts. Rita trained in Painting, Printmaking and Photography at the University of Michigan, (www.umich.edu), Ann Arbor and the State University of New York’s Photography concentration campus at the Visual Studies Workshop (www.vsw.org) in Rochester, New York, holding Masters of Fine Art from both institutions. While at VSW she did an internship at George Eastman House (www.eastmanhouse.org) in the Exhibitions Department. Rita came to New Zealand for both political and professional reasons to head the physical and curriculum design of the Photography Department at the Quay School of the Arts in Whanganui in 1995 and is overjoyed to have made the decision, sight unseen, to settle in that wonderful city. Before coming to New Zealand she taught at the University of Michigan Residential College, Ann Arbor, Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, Pomona College, Clairemont, CA and UNC Charlotte, NC.
