A photograph is always an abstraction, because the photographer cuts a 2-dimensional slice out of the 3-dimensional reality. It s a manipulation in itself, when you press the shutterbutton. The digital medium has not made me do technical experiments and manipulations in a larger scale. But there are a lot of possibilities in it. So who knows. But there has to be a reason for them. It s difficult to explain in words, but you can say, the effect should add something to the photograph and not stand alone.

Black&white and colour photos of nudes and body-paintings. Site includes also landscapes nature snapshots children and portrait photos as well as drawings and photo-collages. I have been making photographs for over 20 years. In 1994, I graduated with a B.F.A. Hons Visual Arts, Photography, from the University of Victoria, in British Columbia where I studied under Fred Douglas. My work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions both in BC and Ontario. I am always on the look out for new female models over the age of 18 for fine art figure photography. Modeling, dance, or theatre experience is a plus, but not a requirement. All models are required to sign a model release form. You can download a copy of the release form below. In exchange, model s compensation consists of either payment, prints, or a combination thereof.
