Henning von Berg - Fine Art Photography - Berlin, Amsterdam, Los Angeles

Mittlerweile kann der Autodidakt auf dreihundertvierzig Veröffentlichungen in allen fünf Kontinenten zurückblicken. Nach Ausstellungen in Galerien und Museen, werden einige Werke jetzt in namhaften Auktionen gehandelt. Auf Einladung der Kunststiftung ToF-Foundation wirkte er als Co-Kurator für Präsentationen in Museen. Zudem fungierte er mehrfach als Juror bei nationalen und internationalen Fotowettbewerben. Heute lebt Henning von Berg abwechselnd in Berlin, Amsterdam und Hollywood.... Meanwhile, the self-taught photographer can look back on more then four hundred publications on four continents. After many exhibitions in galleries as well as presentations in museums, his works are also sold at fine art photography auctions. Von Berg has been asked to be a judge for several photography competitions.The Tom Of Finland Foundation has invited him to be a co-curator for a museum exhibition. In 2006 he was approached to join the team as a “Foundation Liaison” for Germany/Europe. In the same year, Studio Publications appointed von Berg as “Benelux Correspondent” for the two high-profile photo magazines '[Not Only] BLACK+WHITE' (female/male nudes) and '[Not Only] BLUE' (male nudes).HvB is dividing his time between Berlin, Amsterdam and Los Angeles. His artistic motto ® is: "Provocative photos for people who understand the fine difference between sexuality and sensuality!"

Imogen Cunningham Trust

mogen Cunningham established the Trust to preserve her negatives and to encourage the exhibition, sale and presentation of her photographs. We encourage you to visit the site and learn more about Imogen. There are many excellent books by and about Imogen and her work, as well as articles and biographical information on this site. Several galleries sell posthumous Imogen Cunningham Trust prints in silver gelatin and platinum, as well as unsigned original prints by Imogen. And there are also listed sources on the left for notecards, calenders, postcards and other reproductions of her work. Silver gelatin Trust prints are prints made from Imogen Cunningham's original negatives. These prints are 'blind-stamped' with Imogen's signature embossed into the matte board and further documented with a label depicting the title and describing the print. These prints are all dry-mounted on 100% archival rag board, mounted and overmatted. Digital carbon prints are now being produced by the Imogen Cunningham Trust, with Imogen's signature embossed onto the print itself.

I began to photograph just for fun year ago probably because it was the only way to create something artistic, as I have always been fascinated by painting. But as I am not good in drawing, now I am living for this wonderful passion, which day by day gives me satisfactions and self confidence on my creative abilities. Even if I do not always have a fixed style in my mind, I like to begin every new photo with an open mind, trying every time different expressions, from portraits to landscape, mixing everything trying not to be boring. I am fascinated by lights and shadows and I like playing with them. Every time I try to find a meaning to the shot, incorporationg my vision and ideas. For me, photography entails a voyage of discovery. When I look through the viewfinder, I can put the world in a framework and make it according to my feelings. That s the world I photograph.

Zefram Cochrane is a fictional character from the Star Trek universe who invented warp drive in 2063, bringing faster-than-light travel (FTL) technology to humanity; although technology to travel faster than light was developed independently by other races before and since, it is Cochrane's contributions alone which are inextricably linked with warp drive in the culture of the United Federation of Planets, perhaps because his theories were so revolutionary and because Earth played such a prominent part in the Federation's formation. He was born in 2030 and was presumed dead after disappearing from Alpha Centauri in 2117.
