I started shooting in college at Towson State, when my girlfriend at the time decided to get into modeling. Thinking it would be a good idea to start shooting her myself, I used my Canon rebel at the time to start getting together a portfolio for her. At the same time I started taking photography I and II in my sophmore year at Towson State. It was then that I completely fell in love with photography. Shooting black and white and developing my own film and prints was so much fun to me and a great creative outlet. I also took jobs at a couple of photo labs, so I could really learn then whole process from taking a photo to developing a color print. I started shooting everything from landscapes to my cats, to people, to abstract compositions that I made. Models eventually became my main interest, and I experimented with different lighting, different compositions, and anything else I could think of to try that was different. Around the same time I started shooting models, I decided to try wedding photography because I had heard you could make a good living out of it, and since I was not good enough yet to get paid by the models, and i was determined to make a living out of photography it seemed like a good thing to try. I started working for one company that taught me the basics, but the company was not very reputable and did not treat their customers right so I decided to move on. My grandfather had told me that a kid I used to hang out with when i was 10 had started his own...
