Album fotografico: paesaggi architettura natura particolari bianco e nero. Vivo in Lombardia e lavoro nel campo dell informatica. Ho diversi hobby, ma quello che pi mi appassiona sicuramente la fotografia. I miei primi scatti risalgono a diversi anni fa, realizzati con una semplice reflex manuale. Crescendo ho ampliato la mia attrezzatura, passando nel 2000 alla fotografia digitale. Questo cambiamento, all epoca forse un po azzardato, mi ha permesso di moltiplicare la quantit di scatti, mantenendo contenuti i costi di sviluppo. In questo modo ho avuto la possibilit di scoprire e quindi di specializzarmi nella fotografia che pi mi affascina: paesaggi, soggetti architettonici e naturalistici. I ritratti, gli eventi folkloristici e pi in generale tutto ci che riguarda la fotografia di persone non mi hanno mai attratto particolarmente. Nelle gallerie fotografiche potrete quindi constatare la quasi totale assenza di persone, appunto dovuta ad una concezione pi naturale possibile dello scatto orientato verso l ambiente che mi circonda.

Vaclav Sedy  Photographer Milano Italy

Vaclav SEDY is a photographer from Czechoslovakia. He has lived in Italy since 1983, where he has worked with architecture magazines such as Domus, Abitare, Casabella and others. Educational background: in Brno and at the Academy of Cinema and Television in Prague, where he took a degree in photography with a thesis on Czechoslovakian photography of the Sixties; the thesis received an award from the Czech Literature Foundation. While he was still in Czechoslovakia, he worked at the Regional Museum of Cesky Tesin in Lower Silesia, concentrating on ethnographic studies and vernacular architecture. In Italy his first assignments involved iconographic research for magazines like Illustrazione Italiana and Reporter, and the contribution of articles for the magazine Ottagono. He has organized photography exhibitions illustrating the tradition of Czech photography, writing critical essays for the catalogs. In 1992 he published, for the Lindau publishing house of Turin, the book "Benedetto Alfieri ad Asti", followed by an exhibition of black and white photos at the Pinacoteca of Asti. In '97 the book "Casa di cristallo" was published, containing images of the park of Philip Johnson in New Canaan, commissioned by the Elemond publishing house. In '98 the book was reprinted in a French edition, by the publisher Gallimard. The latest book featuring his photographs, published by Skira, is on the sculptures of Arnaldo Pomodoro at San Leo.
