USA und Hawaii 2004

Wir waren 6 Wochen in den USA unterwegs gute 4 Wochen Festland und 10 Tage auf Hawaii . Von der Reise wurde der Flug bei Canusa gebucht. Zuerst hatten wir auch noch die Mietwagen bei Canusa geplant, was wir aber später geändert haben. Wegen der verschiedenen Einwegmieten bei den einzelnen Mietwagenfirmen haben wir die grobe Reiseroute mehrmals umgeworfen. Zuletzt kam dann die jetzige Variante dabei heraus. Flug nach Salt Lake City, Yellowstone NP, Flug nach Las Vegas und von hier die große Tour durch die Nationalparks bis nach San Francisco. Warum der Flug von Salt Lake nach Las Vegas ? Ist doch gar nicht so weit ? Das ist richtig. Leider liegen die beiden Ziele aber in zwei verschiedenen Staaten. Und das bedeutet Einwegmiete ! Bzw. unsere erste Planung den Wagen in Salt Lake aufzunehmen und in San Francisco abzugeben hätte mehrere hundert Dollar Einwegmiete bedeutet. Es gibt jedoch Sonderregelungen.
