Tom erfüllte sich am 24. Dez. 92 seinen Traum und kaufte sich einen Land Rover 110 Jg 83 ,ein Pick up mit Blachenverdeck und einem V8 3,5 Benzin Motor. Erster Umbau: Kabine mit Seitenwänden und eigene Konstruktion eines Hochdaches. Campingausbau. Austausch des V8 Motors mit einem Peugeot 2,5 Turbo Diesel aus einem 505 Peugeot . Das 4-Gang Getriebe wurde mit einem Overdrive aufgerüstet. Unser Landy im Canyonlands Natl.Park USA. Auf unserer ersten Reise vom 94- 97 von Florida Mexiko-Alaska-Florida.

Photography is something that has always been important to me. For as long as I can remember, I enjoyed having a camera in my hand. Of course, the quality of the camera s have increased over the years from the 110 that I started with, but the thrill is still the same. The last few years I have really concentrated on my photography more and more, constantly trying to learn something new. In 1998 I moved to Nashville, TN and soon was taking photos of all the country stars and sharing my photos with lots of them. It was a very exciting time in my life. Then in 2000 I moved back to Florida and since Vince Gill did not hang out on the local golf course for me to take photos of, I had to find something to take care of my love of photography. Thus, I started with nature, wildlife and landscapes. I started taking day trips all over the Florida and photographing things that caught my eye. In the last few years, I have become a huge fan of birding. I have always tried to research my subjects as to give the proper name of the animal or location. Now, 2007 I am back in TN. My main focus is exploring the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove and surrounding areas. I am enjoying the peaceful side of the Smokies and learning all the new landscapes and wildlife in the area.
