Getty kauft Jupiter

Rock Climbing, Mountaineering & Hill Walking in the UK
Dedicated to mountaineering hill walking & rock climbing in the UK. Contains database of all UK mountains plus climbing routes gear weather latest news gallery downloads and comprehensive links directory. My favourite areas in the UK would have to be Lakes, Snowdonia and of course Scotland. I live in Cambridge with my wife Leanne and cat Oscar and we try to get away at least once a month, sometimes more. Most of our holidays are spent in the mountains, be that in the UK or further afield in the Alps etc. I am involved with a number of Duke of Edinburgh groups as an expedition instructor & assessor. I hold the MLTUK Walking Group Leader WGL , Summer Mountain Leader SML , Winter Mountain Leader WML , International Mountain Leader IML and Single Pitch SPA awards, along with a valid first aid certificate and CRB check. I have lead youth development expeditions to Bolivia and Iceland and if all goes according to plan I am hoping to start the Mountain Instructor Award MIA during 2007. The Duke of Edinburgh s Award Scheme was how I originally got into the mountains and I have fond memories of doing my bronze, silver & gold awards in the Lake District. Consequently I really enjoy working with groups of teenagers introducing them to this environment - hopefully they will go on to get as much joy out of the mountains it as I have over the years.

Alpesphoto ...

Johnathan Esper s World Highpointing Page
This website is dedicated to highpointing all over the world. Below are some links to my various highpointing endeavors. I have always loved climbing and being in the woods. I grew up in the beautiful Adirondack Mountians of New York State in a family that loved the outdoorsy, active lifestyle. This heritage has profoundly impacted who I have become, and my own lifestyle choices, to an extent I would probably have denied during my early highschool days! Now, however, I am truly grateful for the unique heritage I have been given by my family. I started out climbing in the Adirondacks, and became the youngest person to climb all the High Peak in this region in the winter by age 10 with my family. After that, I continued to hike extensively in the Adirondack Mountains, finishing a total of 4 additional 3 in the winter rounds of the Adirondack 46 High Peaks. Then, wishing to climb other peaks, my dad and I climbed all 116 4,000 foot mountain in New York and New England the New England 116 in the winter, finishing in 2000. Now as I move beyond that limited geographic area, I have developed several new climbing goals, including the Highpoints of the US, Canada, and Europe. I continue to hike and climb because I love being in the wilderness, enjoying its beauty and praising its Creator. This is also an integral part of the unique, adventurous, and outgoing person who I have become, and of whom I am proud.
