the athenians Ordinary people in their everyday life in the city of Athens. Where do they spend most of their time, living, breathing, working,consuming, praying, dreaming and dying? Details in the dirty boxes of a workers rooms, in the books placed on a table, details that can be read as a story beyond the smiles and the glossy and commercialized aspects of the Olympic Games. This is the way I wanted to capture the reality on the ground; the daily lives and faces of my city that would otherwise never be seen by the passing media circus.
