IVRPA International VR Photography Association
The IVRPA formerly the IQTVRA is an international association of professionals who create and produce interactive, immersive images. Our Members include professional photographers, multimedia and web developers, artists, enthusiasts, students, and companies and individuals that support our technology with software and hardware. To promote and support the uses of image based VR and related technologies worldwide through education, community forums, networking opportunities, manufacturer alliances, marketing assistance, and technical support of our Member s efforts. The IVRPA was founded originally as the IQTVRA, the International QuickTimeVR Association. The association was incorporated in the state of California on december 7th, 1998. In december 2004, the association changed their name to IVRPA to reflect our broadening technological field of immersive interactive imaging.

Society for Photographic Education
The Society for Photographic Education is a non-profit membership organization that provides a forum for the discussion of photography and related media as a means of creative expression and cultural insight. Through its interdisciplinary programs, services and publications, the society seeks to promote a broader understanding of the medium in all its forms, and to foster the development of its practice, teaching, scholarship and criticism. The Society for Photographic Education SPE . Prior to the 1960s, photography was taught primarily in departments of journalism at American universities. SPE emerged at a time when art departments were beginning to offer photography in their curriculum. Nathan Lyons, then associate director at the George Eastman House, recognized the newly emerging academic field; he coordinated and hosted a conference in November 1962 in Rochester, New York, to address the concerns of these educators. Beaumont Newhall, Walter Rosenblum, Arthur Sinsabaugh, Aaron Siskind, Henry Holmes Smith, John Szarkowski, Jerry Uelsmann and Clarence White were among the thirty attendees at the Invitational Teaching Conference. Representing the intersection of fine art practice, education and history, these early participants aimed to formulate the goals, future and improvement of photographic education. The first annual national conference was held in Chicago in 1963 and the articles of incorporation were signed in May 1964. Since its establishment, many noted artists, curators, and critics in the field of photography have been involved with SPE or its programs. Although the majority of its 1,800 members are fine art photographers and educators, curators, critics, historians and artists are also members. SPE is a national non-profit organization that seeks to promote a wider understanding of photography in all of its forms and to foster the development of its practice, teaching, scholarship and critical analysis. PACA: Picture Archive Council of America
PACA, the Picture Archive Council of America, is the trade organization in North America that represents the vital interests of stock archives of every size, from individual photographers to large corporations, who license images for commercial reproduction. Founded in 1951, its membership includes over 100 companies in North America and over 50 international members. Through advocacy, education and communication, PACA strives to foster and protect the interests of the picture archive community. Accordingly, we work to develop useful business standards and promote ethical business practices; actively advocate copyright protection; collect and disseminate timely information; and take an active role in the picture community by building relationships with organizations from related industries. PACA is also involved with issues affecting the broader community including cooperation and dialog with other national and international professional organizations. PACA is concerned with the important, ongoing legal and legislative affairs relevant to the photo industry. In 2006, PACA was a leading member in the establishment of the Imagery Alliance, a coalition of professional visual arts trade associations formed to advocate and educate for the protection of copyright and related interests. PACA is fortunate to have as its legal counsel Nancy Wolff, who is a valuable leader in the area of United States copyright. SAA is an international association of professional photographers and others who create visual works for stock licensing. The mission of SAA is to support and protect the business interests of professional stock photographers worldwide. SAA provides information resources and advocates the use of equitable business models, fair contracts and ethical practices at all levels of the stock industry. Membership in the SAA contributes to the strengthening of solidarity among stock artists.
