Googles Picasa 2.7 für Linux ist fertig
Die Linux-Version von Picasa 2.7 ist nun erschienen. Jetzt ist es auch Linux-Nutzern möglich, Bilder von der eigenen Festplatte in den so genannten Picasa Web Albums zu veröffentlichen. Zudem enthält die Software weitere Verbesserungen. (Grafiksoftware, Google)
Canon bietet Scanlösungen mit Sammel-PDF-Funktion
Canon und eCopy haben zwei Softwarelösungen vorgestellt, die auf Papier vorliegende Informationen direkt in den digitalen Workflow eines Unternehmens übertragen. Zudem bietet eCopy Desktop noch eine weitere Arbeitserleichterung: Verschiedene Dokumentenformate lassen sich zu einem Sammel-PDF zusammenbauen. (PDF, Scanner)
Personelle Veränderungen bei Advertising.com
Hamburg, 6. Februar 2008 – Advertising.com Deutschland hat im Februar seine Büros in Hamburg und München sowohl weiter personell verstärkt als auch drei Mitarbeiter befördert. Im Hamburger Büro wird Paco Panconcelli (35) zum 1. März 2008 neuer Head of Account Management, Nina Taubenreuther (28) leitet seit 1. Februar die Einkaufsabteilung Publisher Services. Zusätzlich hat Irene Bosch – zuletzt Auszubildende zur Kauffrau für Bürokommunikation – zum 1. Februar ihre neue Stelle als Sales Assistant angetreten. Neu im Hamburger Team ist Simone Langhof (26), die seit 1. Februar den Managing Director Harald R. Fortmann als Executive Assistant tatkräftig unterstützt. Des Weiteren ist seit Dezember 2007 Dominik Dimper (27) als Client Service Manager im Münchner Büro für den internationalen Online-Marketing-Spezialisten tätig.

So sucht Deutschland: „Routenplaner“ stößt „Wetter“ vom Suchwort-Thron
Wie keine andere Volksbefragung spiegeln heutzutage Milliarden von Suchanfragen den Puls der Zeit wider. Jetzt präsentiert die Yahoo! Suche wieder die am häufigsten verwendeten Suchwörter des Jahres zwischen Flensburg und Füssen. An der Spitze der TopSuchen 2007 stehen erneut die Dauerbrenner, wenn auch in veränderter Reihenfolge: Der verregnete Sommer mag Schuld daran sein, dass der Vorjahres-Suchwort-Sieger „Wetter“ von der neuen Nummer 1 „Routenplaner“ auf Platz 2 verwiesen wurde, gefolgt von „Immobilien“ und „Erotik“. Neben der allgemeinen Top 10 ermittelte Yahoo! Deutschland weitere Hitlisten in 12 Kategorien und deckt auf, wer die Auf- und Absteiger des Jahres waren und welche Themen die Deutschen bewegten.

Welcome to the Canadian Photo Club We are working on building Canada s largest photo club. This website is planned to be a meeting place for ALL photo and camera clubs across the nation is well as anyone who may have an interest in photography, for a profession or just as a hobby. As well we welcome members that want to make this their own club, or just want to join the conversation and photos. We have a lot planned for the future of this site, and will have some great contests and some fantastic prizes.

The Mississauga Camera Club was established in 1954. The club offers an opportunity for the sharing of ideas, improvement of photographic skills, as well as fellowship through photography. Regular Mississauga Camera Club meetings are normally held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings, from September to June and start at 7:30 p.m. at the Cawthra Senior s Community Centre, 1389 Cawthra Road. Visitors are welcome to attend a club meeting, but participation in club competitions, workshops, and outings are limited to members. Regular meetings may include lectures by guest speakers addressing a variety of photography-related interests, technical advice, or pure entertainment. Four times a year, the regular meeting displays and awards the club members who have entered the club competitions, currently consisting of prints and digital files. There are four competitions during the club year, for prints and digital files in which points will accumulate toward CLUB AWARDS for each group. In addition, other opportunities may be provided by the club, for inter or intra club competitions. Further information is available in the Constitution which is currently under review. Digital File competitions offer members an opportunity to compete in 3 classes Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced . In each class there are three categories: Pictorial, Nature and Artistic Contemporary. Members may submit images in more than one category, but are limited to a total of three images per competition. Prints are judged much like pictorial slides however there is emphasis on the quality of the print, its presentation mounting and matting tonal range, etc. Every Club member is eligible to submit two unframed entries per competition, in any combination, in the categories: Pictorial or Artistic Contemporary

Somos disc pulos de aquellos grandes maestros que pasaron por El Foto Club Argentino y llevamos adelante las banderas que ellos siempre sostuvieron: amistad y pasi n por el Arte Fotogr fico. Tenemos mucha experiencia luego de haber pasado gran parte de nuestras vidas en la vieja instituci n y ser, cada uno de los integrantes, profesionales en distintas ramas de la actividad fotogr fica. La historia del NFCA se ha escrito gracias a aquel querido Foto Club Argentino y se escribir tambi n en base a la apertura a todas las ramas del quehacer fotogr fico, sin exclusiones de n nguna ndole.
