Metro Camera Club, Oklahoma USA
We share our knowledge by joining in group activities that allow us to share our experiences. There is a broad range of skill levels within the group and through sharing, we are able to achieve higher degrees of technical and artistic ability. Through these activities we hope to nurture the ability to "see" and to share our interest in photography as a form of artistic expression. Monthly competition is used as the structure for learning, sharing, and challenging ourselves in our hobby. Members are not required to submit images for competition, but are encouraged to do so, as a way to develop their skills. The first meeting of the month is program night. The second meeting is the viewing and critiquing of competition photos which have been submitted by the membership. Three judges are selected from our more experienced members. December is our Christmas Party and Awards Banquet.
