Enchanted Lens Camera Club, Albuquerque, New Mexiko

The objective of the Enchanted Lens Camera Club is to provide enjoyment and knowledge of photography to its members through their participation and efforts in club activities.The ELCC meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each Month from September through June. Meetings start at 7:00 p.m., but often times workshops presented by members will start at 6:15 p.m. These workshops are usually announced during the prior meeting, as well as on our Yahoo Group.The first meeting of the month we usually have a guest speaker. Past speakers have included John Isaacs, Kirk Gittings, Craig Wood, Dana Foy, and Chip Simons to name a few. In addition, committees may report on various club initiatives, and other ELCC business may be discussed. These meetings typically end around 9:00 p.m. — 9:30 p.m.The second meeting of the month is competition night. Judges score and critique photos entered by the members in both open and assigned categories. In order to give the judges as much time as possible, discussion of any ELCC business is limited to urgent matters only. These meetings can sometimes go up to 10 p.m.If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, feel free to stop by.
