The St. Paul Camera Club, the oldest (1893) in the area, is an organization composed of a variety of people, all having an interest in photography. The club provides an open opportunity for all of its members to share their ideas and experiences. The SPCC meets from September to May on the first and third Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:30PM. The first Tuesday is for in-club competitions and the third Tuesday is usually an educational program. An annual award banquet is held in June of each year.

Minnetonka Camera Clubis one of the first clubs in the Metro Area to add digital photography to its slide and print imaging medium. The Club provides a friendly and social setting to share interest in photography, opportunities to grow technically and artistically, and many other ways for members to explore the photographic medium. Minnetonka Camera Club has monthly competitions and members who choose to do so can compete with slides, prints, and digital images in several categories. The Club meets in Minnetonka at 7:00 pm on the first and third Thursdays of the month and has lectures, demonstrations, field trips and other activities. The Minnetonka Camera Club was founded in 1954 as a color slide club. Prints were added to the club activities in 1988 and digital images were added in 2003. All three media are still supported.

amateur and professional photographers explore various aspects of photography through monthly competitions based on theme and open categories. Our Club alternates salon topics between prints one month to slides and digital the next month. Entries are critiqued. We currently have about 70 members whose interests include film, digital and slides.Experience ranges from beginner to pro. Minnesota Valley Photography Club (MVPC) was founded in 1984. It has a membership of over 100+ individuals representing all ages, backgrounds, interest, and levels of experience. They all have a common interest in photography and a desire to expand their photographic skills.

The club is open to photographers of all skill levels from around the Twin Cities who want to improve their knowledge, ability and enjoyment of photography. The "North Shore Photo Club" meets on the first Thursday of every month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the basement of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors MN. The church is located at 602 4th Avenue.

The Twin Cities Area Council of Camera Clubs (TCACCC) and its eighteen affiliated clubs promote continuing education and fellowship for those interested in all aspects of photography.The Council's board, composed of the Executive Board members and representatives from each of the member clubs, meets on the 2nd Thursday, August through May, at 7:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to attend. Meeting locations is: Iris Park Commons, 1850 University Ave. W, St. Paul, MN 55104.Each year the TCACCC sponsors Spring Break, a weekend of programs and an interclub competition. TCACCC sponsors three PSA recognized competitions: Minneapolis-St. Paul International Exhibition of Photography Northstar Circuit of Nature Photography St. Paul Print Circuit The Council publishes a quarterly newletter for the member clubs, The Councilor. The Council's board, composed of the Executive Board members and representatives from each of the member clubs, meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month, August through May, at 7:00 p.m. at Iris Park Commons, 1850 University Ave. W, St. Paul, MN 55104. The North Metro Photo Club strives to achieve proficiency in digital, slide and print media of photography . We meet 15 times a year to showcase our talent in creating images of art. Our calendar year is from July to May. We meet on 3rd and 5th Thursdays between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m.at the St.Philips Lutheran Church in Fridley, Minnesota. All 3rd Thursdays are devoted to Slides and Digital images. The 5th Thursdays are devoted to showcasing print images.

The primary function of the Minnetonka Camera Club is to teach artistic and technical photographic skills and to achieve success in photographic interpretation of man his works and nature through the medium of photography. Minnetonka Camera Club is one of the first clubs in the metro to embrace digital photography and is a leader in digital imaging technology. The club s members have produced thousands of local, national, and international award winning images over the 50 years of its existence. Minnetonka Camera Club offers the following: A friendly and social setting to share interest in photography, opportunities to grow technically and artistically. Members are of all ages and range from people just beginning their photographic exploration to seasoned professionals. Monthly competitions with slides, prints, and digital images. Photographs are presented with quality DLP digital projection, razor sharp slide projection and prints from 8x10 to 16x20. Judging is conducted by a five member rotating judging panel to give balanced points of view.

Its purposes are: continuing education in the art, science and technique of nature photography; evaluation of members' photography; appreciation and enjoyment of the outdoors; and fellowship. The club promotes the beauty of nature through both digital and slide photography where human elements are absent.
