The Photographic Guild functions through weekly meetings, educational programs and affiliation with other photographic organizations.Our weekly meetings, held on Mondays, (September through May) give members an opportunity to compete photographically, to listen to illustrated lectures, and to see "how-to" demonstrations.

GRCC Grand Rapids Camera Club - Flint, Michigan USA
The Grand Rapids Camera Club (GRCC) is the oldest camera club in the United States in continuous and uninterrupted existence. It was organized in 1898 as an outgrowth of the Valley City Photographic Society.The first meetings were held in the old Auditorium Building located at the corner of Fountain Street and Ionia Avenue. GRCC has met at many different sites since then, including the Grand Rapids Art Gallery and the Grand Rapids Public Museum.GRCC members held their first exhibition in the spring of 1899. Subsequent exhibitions were held at the Art Gallery, Public Museum, bank lobbies, photographic studios, galleries, camera stores, shopping malls, hotel lobbies, the Ryerson Library and many other more obscure places.GRCC is an active member of the Southwestern Michigan Council of Camera Clubs (SWMCCC), which sponsors an annual photography school and two photography competitions each year.The continued success of the Grand Rapids Camera Club lies in its many unique facets. The GRCC serves the needs of photographers whose interest lie in digital reproduction or in traditional photography. GRCC is the only club in our area with monthly workshops and three competitive interest divisions including black and white or color print with six categories in each division.Many internationally and locally recognized photographers who possess a wealth of information are ready and willing to aid the aspiring photographer.

Mid Michigan Photography Club - Michigan
A photography club for people of all skill levels located in the mid Michigan area. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30 PM to8:30 PM at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing. The Mid Michigan Photography club was founded in 2006 by Ron St. Germain with the help of June Cooke. Ron is a professional photographer in the Lansing area and is the recipient of 27 professional awards for published works, including four at the highest international level. June Cooke is a local artist and is part-owner of Art Anew.
