The goal of our club is the study and enjoyment of photography. Our 40 members consist of serious amateur as well as professional photographers. Many travel world wide to photograph, while others take advantage of local sites. We meet at 7:00 p.m. September through May on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The first monthly meeting is a competition night; the second is a program night. We also offer a variety of outings. At the end of the season, we celebrate our successes with an awards banquet.

The Lake County Camera Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Our season begins in September and goes through the next year to August. Lake County Camera Club invites anyone who is interested in expanding their enjoyment of photography to join us, no matter the level of your photographic experience, from beginner to expert, and everything in between. There is no better way to learn and improve your skill than to dive in and put it into action. Our club will provide a forum for you to enhance your skills with seminars and programs on many photographic subjects.

One of the oldest camera clubs in the Northern Illinois, the Des Plaines Camera Club was formed on June 23, 1952 by a group of individuals who shared an interest in photography. The club provides encouragement to members to expand their interests in photography in which they not only learn from one another, but also have an outlet for their creative interest. Meetings include workshops, lectures, and demonstrations in computer programs and traditional film and digital photography. The club is a member of (C.A.C.C.A) Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association and enters monthly inter-club contest. The DES PLAINES CAMERA CLUB meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month September thru May. The Club meets in the Community Room of the Des Plaines Park District Prairie Lakes Community Center located at 515 E. Dempster/Thacker Street (One half block West of Wolf Road) in Des Plaines. Meetings start at 7:00 p.m.

The Chicago Photographic and Camera Collectors Society camera and image club for new and used camreas images and equipment was founded in 1971 and is a not-for-profit organization chartered in the State of Illinois. The Chicago Photographic Collectors Society was founded in 1971 and is chartered by the State of Illinois as a not-for-profit organization. It was started by a group of photo image and antique camera collectors, who wished to share and enhance their knowledge of the history of photography, with others with similar interests. Now almost 4 decades later, it has grown to be one of the most respected groups of its kind, with members and correspondents covering North America, Asia and Europe. Through the monthly meetings, it’s web site, the newsletter and by the periodic articles and monographs on the Internet, it has shared knowledge and the exchange of ideas regarding the collection and preservation of photographica with other collectors and the general public.

The Arlington Camera Club serves photography enthusiasts who would like to improve their skills and participate in Club activities and field trips. The Arlington Camera Club is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, USA. The Club was founded in 1988 to promote the hobby of photography and to improve the photographic abilities of our club members. Through various workshops, educational programs, competitions, field trips and other activities we strive to achieve high quality photos. We learn from each other and we have fun! Arlington Camera Club meets twice a month from September through June on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Our meetings are held at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum Campus, located at 110 W. Fremont St. We start at 7:15 PM sharp.

Created in 1954 for the exchange of ideas and information relating to the art, techniques, and skills of individuals with a similar interest in photography, our vision is to help anyone with a desire to develop their photographic skills through encouragement, mutual help, and learning opportunities. Our club year runs from September through May. Opportunities to photograph local festivals, flowers, eagles, and other interesting subjects with fellow members of the Peoria Camera Club. Learn from one another and have a little fun too. An annual fall workshop to shoot using studio lighting, setups, and a chance to work with live models. Occasionally, All day training classes are available in ProShowGold, PhotoShop, and other areas of interest.
