The Victoria Camera Club is a group of people who share a love of photography. Our experience ranges from novice to master and our tools include both film and digital. We hold three meetings a month, 7:30-9:30 pm on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays, September through April. Meetings are held at Norway House, 1110 Hillside Avenue click here for map . Meetings feature the presentation of competition results, salons for the display and discussion of members images and guest speakers who inspire and provide opportunities to learn. The first meeting of each month is Competition Night. Entries will be due for both Club Competitions and, when applicable, for CAPA or other competitions. The night will also feature the return of competition results from the previous month. The second meeting of each month is Salon and Member Showcase Night. The salon will provide the opportunity to members to present up to three prints and three projected images either slides or digital images for discussion and feedback. The meeting will also feature a Member Showcase during which one, or sometimes two, members present their work. Contact Blake Ford if you would like to contribute your ideas, expertise or assistance. The third meeting of each month is Education Speaker Night. Recognized photographers will be invited to share their work, techniques, tips and general thoughts about photography.
