Ennea -- Εννέα

"Ennea" is a non-prophit, photographic and cultural club founded in Athens, Greece, in 2001. "Ennea" (which means "nine"), started out as group of nine people who love creative photography and art, wanting to share their views and opinions on the medium. Progressively, other people with similar interests, were added to this core. Thus, the club was built later and the initial "company" mutated into a total with structured form and substance. LEFKK-photography ´d cinema club of Karditsa

Since 1978 till today it has shown a very important and rich activity.The organising of Pan-Hellenic Festival of Cinematography of short-length films (super 8) for eight years in a row and the scheduling of photography seminars for more than twelve years, have given the opportunity to hundreds of photography fans to meet each other and share the joy of creation.The photography exhibitions organised by LEFKK have been the starting point for younger people to display their work, to criticise and be criticised, to express the way in which they see the world around them and appreciate more the little and indifferent things of their everyday lives.After a little longer that twenty years, in the small room of our club, people who love photography and Cinematography still meet each other to discuss and exchange opinions on the subject.Our basic activities include: Photography seminars Usage of dark room Presentation of photo-slides and films Photography exhibitions The Karditsa Photo-Cinematographic museum The organising of Pan-thessalian Photography competition. PHOTOGRAPHY CENTER OF THESSALONIKI

The adventure of the Photography Center of Thessaloniki begun in 1995 even though it originated from the Photography Group of the Municipality of Triandria, founded in 1984 by Vasilis Karkatselis. The Photography Center of Thessaloniki offers advice and helps the Greek Photography, and is seated in a rented building in the town center. The Photography Center of Thessaloniki aims at supporting the creative and artistic photography. In order to achieve this goal, the Center tries to promote the work of Greek and foreign photographers, artists, clubs and other actors working on art, organizing innovative and unusual exhibitions in its showrooms or in other actors showrooms, barnstorming one town after another with group or personal exhibitions, editing and publishing photography albums and exhibition catalogues, granting scholarships and many other things. An archive, a library, a web site and a photography case have been formed in order to preserve, study and search ways for saving our national character and access into the international scene. The Photography Center of Thessaloniki organizes annually training programs and informs photography clubs, groups, institutions, public actors, and other legal entities. It also participates in the organization and co-organization in Greece and abroad of speeches, screenings, meetings and exhibitions offering full moral, technical, and financial support, and promotes the development and expansion of photography and any other mean of image i.e. magnetic and electronic image, multimedia etc. . In order to achieve the aforementioned non-profit goals, the Photography Center of Thessaloniki forms researching and publishing teams and cooperates with any domestic or foreign actor with the same goals and interests for the promotion and expansion of the art of photography. Great emphasis is laid on the workshops that were formed and operate within the Photography Center of Thessaloniki. The schools are directed by specialized trainers while professors and artists also participate. Students enliven the Photography Center of Thessaloniki, which appears as a living organism . Two of the basic activities of the Center are the establishment of the institution of pupils photography with the participation of public and private schools of Thessaloniki and getting to know other photography groups in Greece. The establishment of Photography Center of Thessaloniki resulted from the wish of one group of photographers willing to move towards the liberation of the expression through dialogue. The constant occupation with artistic and creative photographs in Thessaloniki by many actors, schools and groups, increased the number of artists and eventually their works. This work claims aguishly a decent representation and a proper environment for free communication with the public. The Photography Center of Thessaloniki was formed to cover the lack of a special showroom where the modern artistic work could formulate and put forward speculations and issues, could doubt the past and claim the future. The Photography Center of Thessaloniki is constantly trying to de-margin the artistic photography and to keep always in the highest levels, the faith for anything new. Situated in the town center in a three-floored building in order to host one large exhibition or three smaller ones, with proper lighting systems and all the necessary infrastructure, the Photography Center of Thessaloniki operates the last 6 years in support of all constant photography activities. The need of the modern scene of photography in Thessaloniki to formulate a special word autonomous and at the same time universal directs to balance the domestic work with other important exhibitions from Greek and European cities. Η Φωτοσκίαση είναι η φωτογραφική ομάδα των φοιτητών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης στην οποία ο κάθε ενδιαφερόμενος έχει τη δυνατότητα να πειραματιστεί και να εκφραστεί μέσω της τέχνης της φωτογραφίας.Η ομάδα έχοντας διανύσει μια πορεία 14 ετών δραστηριοποίησης διατηρεί ένα πλήρως εξοπλισμένο σκοτεινό θάλαμο μέσα στο χώρο του Πολυτεχνείου.Απευθυνόμενη τόσο σε ανθρώπους που έχουν ήδη ασχοληθεί με το αντικείμενο της φωτογραφίας, όσο και σε άτομα που για πρώτη φορά επιθυμούν να έρθουν σε επαφή με το χώρο αυτό, οργανώνει σεμιναριακού τύπου εκπαιδευτικές συναντήσεις σε εβδομαδιαία βάση.Στο πρώτο μέρος αυτών θα γίνεται εισαγωγή στα τεχνικά μέρη της φωτογραφίας ενώ παράλληλα οι ενδιαφερόμενοι διδάσκονται τις βασικές αρχές χρήσης του σκοτεινού θαλάμου. Η Ελληνική Φωτογραφική Εταιρεία (ΕΦΕ) συστήθηκε το 1952 ως μη κερδοσκοπικό σωματείο με έδρα την Αθήνα και είναι το παλαιότερο φωτογραφικό σωματείο στην Ελλάδα.Σκοπός της είναι η ανάπτυξη της καλλιτεχνικής φωτογραφίας και επιδιώκεται με κάθε πρόσφορο μέσον, όπως μαθήματα, διαλέξεις, εργαστήρια, διοργανώσεις φωτογραφικών εκθέσεων και προβολών στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.Μέλος της ΕΦΕ μπορεί να γίνει κάθε Έλληνας ή ξένος υπήκοος, αρκεί να αγαπά την φωτογραφία.Η Γενική Συνέλευση των μελών της ΕΦΕ συγκαλείται μία φορά ετησίως και ανά διετία εκλέγει το Διοικητικό Σύμβούλιο, το οποίο ασκεί την διοίκηση αυτής.
