The one-eyed man

Once, there was a photographer, who, tired of the work-a-day world, ran away and joined the circus. Well, that may not be entirely true. In truth, he didn't join the circus, but he did run away to see the great, wide world. There is something magical about seeing images coming up in a tray of developer that is lost to photographers who have only ever made digital images. Pushing pixels around just isn't the same. These were my formative years where I learned the appreciation of art, music and the printed word (Thanks Dad!). I'm old school that way,still get my news printed on paper, grudgingly have most of my music on my laptop as mp3's and take the big screen for film over DVD's I would like to think that I'm a complex man trying to live a simple life, but really i'm just a guy with one good eye and a very personal view of the world around me. Don't spend a lot of time looking for deep and meaningful messages in my photos, the ones that are there tend to be blatant.
