Panasonic Lumix Zoom-Kompaktkamera FX80

Ed Rhodes is a Cheshire based photographer with a particular interest in the landscape of the UK. Born in Ramsey on the Isle Of Man, Ed was never far from the countryside and the wonderful Manx coastline. It was not until March 2004 that Ed first started to appreciate how beautiful the changing landscape and light around us can be. As well as landscape photography Ed is also interested in travel photography and has been fortunate to visit many European and long haul destinations including Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Singapore, USA and Dubai. Ed has recently completed three photography and image software courses at South Cheshire College. The purpose of this site is to showcase many of the fine art landscape photographs taken by Ed in different areas of the UK. The varied landscape of the British Isles is stunning and two photographs taken in the same location can look completely different depending on the light and weather conditions. For this reason Ed shoots mostly around Sunrise and Sunset to capture the warm colours and the wonderful textures on the land that low light can produce. As you will see from the galleries, Ed covers a range of different locations from around the UK and overseas with particular emphasis on the landscape of Cheshire, Derbyshire and The Peak District. Ed also sells images through the stock library Alamy, and has supplied images to national magazine titles.

Photographs by Mike Cookson ARPS. Monochrome landscape images of ancient sites of the Hebrides Orkney and England. Colour photographs of Iceland. London based photography enthusiast practicing both silver-based and digital photography. Most of my work in recent years is monochrome but increasingly, whilst using digital capture, I work in colour. My principle interest is landscape photography especially in some of the remoter areas of the UK. In particular, the Western Isles and Northern Isles of Scotland provide a combination of dramatic landscapes, standing stones and other ancient sites which prove to be an irresistible draw.

Stephen J Gledhill - Entrance - Fine Black & White Photography of the Land, Sea & Sky

Black & White Photography of the Land Sea & Sky from 5x4 negatives by Stephen J Gledhill - The Virtually Grey Gallery displays and offers for sale my photographic work. I hope you enjoy your visit. I would be very pleased to hear from you if you have any comments or questions, or if you would like to make a purchase. I ve worked for more than 30 years producing pictures almost exclusively in Black & White. The landscape is where I look for my pictures, but to say I m a landscape photographer is rather misleading. Whilst out walking I find many things to photograph. Most of my work is of components or elements of the landscape micro-landscapes rather the panoramas and vistas that landscape usually brings to mind. Trees, streams, fungi, clouds, rocks, reflections, patterns, water, grasses; in fact anything more or less natural that will stay still for long enough runs the risk of me pointing my camera at it. It s not uncommon for me to take an hour to make one exposure. If I make twenty exposures in a full day then that s a lot. Ultimately my criterion for taking a photograph is that the final image must at least have the prospect of being striking and frame-able in monochrome once the raw image has passed through my digital darkroom. You ll find a few exceptions to my natural subjects with the occasional building or other evidence of human presence here and there! I am not a landscape purist. Recently I ve come to enjoy photographing inside cathedrals, abbeys and churches....

Catherine Ames : : Landscape Photography

Beautiful strange exciting inciting landscapes by Catherine Ames. Large format black and white landscape photography. The background of my work is large format black and white landscape photography. After using the medium for over 20 years, and the loss of my darkroom, I decided to give digital photography a try and my style has changed dramatically to colour, movement, and breaking all the rules of traditional landscape photography. There are places that have their own distinctive atmosphere, their own mystery and history, their own story to tell. These are the energies I attempt to bring out through my own vision. The response to my new work has been very positive, as no one else, as far as I know, is using digital image making this way. All of my black and white images are made with a Crown Graphic 4 x 5 field camera. The 16 x 20 photographs are at a limited edition of 40. All of my color works are composites of 8 to 30 images, all taken in the same place, at slightly different angles.

Mark Sunderland Photography - Fine Art Landscape Prints and Greetings Cards

Mark Sunderland Photography - Fine Art Landscape Prints and Greetings Cards

As a landscape photographer, my goal is to convey my personal vision of the natural world. Beyond the technical aspects of photography, the challenge is to capture a composition of my chosen subject at the ideal moment when the natural light will help me realise this vision. In pursuit of my goal, I have photographed in Europe and the Americas for many years now, and have witnessed some wonderful lighting conditions, from the crisp clarity of the desert atmosphere in the western USA, to the dramatically changing light in the wild landscape of Patagonia or Iceland, to the soft diffused light of autumnal England. Mark Sunderland is a landscape and travel photographer based in Yorkshire, England. He has photographed extensively in the Western USA, Europe, Patagonia and England, paticularly Yorkshire. Abstract patterns in nature are a continuing theme in Mark s work, which has been published in magazines, and highly commended in the BG Wildlife Photographer of The Year competition for Composition and Form.

Quality Landscape Photographs of the Lake District and Solway Coast

Quality Landscape Photographs of the Lake District and Solway Coast

Lakeland Landscape Photographs by Martin King specialising in photographs of the Lake District and Solway Coast. am a landscape photographer based near Cumbria s Solway Coast and specialising in capturing the moods and stunning beauty of the lakes and mountains of Lakeland. This website provides a glimpse of some of the many photographs taken over the years by me in and around the Lake District, Cumbria s Solway Coast and the wonderful Scottish Highlands and Islands. Sadly, these photographs are no longer available to buy, but I hope you will enjoy perusing the website. The Lake District is rightly renowned as an area of outstanding natural beauty. With its mountains and lakes which have inspired poets and artists alike down the years, it cannot fail to impress. New visitors to the region are often stunned by the splendid scenery, and many people choose to return time and again, experiencing the different moods and changing seasons. The Solway Coast is not widely known outside Cumbria, but is a wonderfully varied area with its ports, villages and the views of the Solway. The Scottish Highlands need little introduction. The mountain scenery in Scotland is arguably unsurpassed and always inspires. I treat the subject of landscape photography and the presentation of my work as both an art and a craft. The whole process of printing, mounting and framing is very time-consuming, but it is also extremely rewarding. The finished article is something I take great pride in and should...
