South Manchester Camera Club

South Manchester Camera Club (SMCC) is one of the leading camera clubs in the North West of England. The club has around 70 members and meets on Monday evenings in Didsbury. The club has a varied programme, with a wide range of quality speakers. Club members are encouraged to enter the internal monthly competitions and contribute work to external interclub competitions, in which we have had quite a lot of local success.

The Mercia Group is an alliance of photographic societies in the Midlands UK formed for the purpose of staging high quality lectures and presentations. All the clubs are members of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation.

Shirley Photographic Society

Our Society is well established, having been founded many years ago, with a membership consisting of local amateur photographers covering a full range of experience from just beginners right through to serious advanced workers, with the latter always willing to help the former with advice, when required. We are a friendly group of enthusiasts, about seventy in number, all willing to share their photographic interest and ideas with each other. To achieve continual improvement in members work, regular internal competitions are held throughout the season, which runs each year from September to March.
