Wandering I Photography - Landscape Images by Michael Ryan

Wandering I Photography - Landscape Images by Michael Ryan

As an avid hiker and traveler, I never cease to be amazed by Mother Nature. With my images, I hope to inspire the viewer to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful world around them. If one of my images makes a person think a little more about the natural environment, undoubtedly our planet will be a better place

Bill Fach - SDG Images

Bill Fach - SDG Images

SDG Images and this website are the collaborative efforts of Bill and Christine Fach. Bill has been a practicing optometrist for 30 years who dabbled off and on with photography for the first 23 of those years with a simple Minolta 35mm manual SLR system. When his trusty Minolta XK died in 1995 he transitioned into the autofocus world with a Minolta 700si and ever since has become more involved in learning the nuances of crafting high quality images. A few camera bodies, many lenses, and thousands of slides later the vast majority of which have taken up permanent residence in unknown landfills , we feel privileged to offer up this display of images for your enjoyment. If nothing else it proves that if you press a shutter button enough times, a few keepers will sneak in. While Bill supplies the artistic material, Christine is the organizational mastermind and web designer. From filing slides to site building to packing and shipping prints, she is the queen of the nuts and bolts of the company. She shares a passion with Bill for the outdoors and for exploring the wonders of the landscape. She s the finest tentmate on the planet and can whip up a mean bowl of pre-sunrise instant oatmeal almost in her sleep. We both acknowledge and are awed by the fact that our talents and abilities are gifts from God to be used to glorify Him in our attitudes, actions and words. Our prayer is that you will see at least a little bit of Jesus in our work and our lives. Soli Deo Gloria; to God...

Edward Margiewicz - Tranquil Images Photography

Fine Art Nauture and Landscape Photography by Edward Margiewicz an extensive searchable gallery of fine art nature and landscape photographs for sale online. There are certain moments when elements of nature and light come together to paint a wonderful picture. Capturing these moments on film is a passion of mine. I have been pursuing photography for over twenty years, traveling from the northeast to the southwest of the United States, focusing mainly closer to home in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The most rewarding aspect of my experience is the unique encounters that I have with numerous people, the land, and nature. I feel blessed to live in a country with such a diverse landscape that traverses from the lush plant life of the Smoky Mountains to the arid Southwest with the beautiful colors of its sand, rocks and canyons. It is through landscape photography that I am forced to slow down and enjoy the marvelous gift our Creator has given to us. I use three formats for image capture; large format 4x5 inch film size , medium format 2-1 4 x 2-1 4inch film size , and 35mm. My large format camera is an Arca Swiss 4x5. It has an abundant amount of movements which allows for greater control over the image perspective. I use six lenses with this format; a 60mm f4 Nikkor-sw supper wide angle, a 90mm f9 Nikkor-sw wide angle, 150mm f5.6 Calter-II N, 210mm f5.6 Schneider apo-symmar, 300mm f9 Nikkor-M, and 400mm f5.6 Schneider Apo-Tele-Xenar. The medium format system is comprised of...

Greg Schneider Photography

Greg Schneider Photography. Nature wildlife bird and airshow photography. I have a keen interest in birds and photography, and have really stepped up my bird photography in 2008, photographing them seriously with a supertelephoto lens. Ouachita Hiking Journal

Ouachita Hiking Journal

Collection of photos and descriptions of hikes and trails in the Ouachita Mountains. There are descriptions of 40 Ouachita hikes and over 1000 photos. Hikers are always looking for good places to hike. Although there are some excellent guidebooks, there are very few places to find photos of both on-trail and off-trail hiking in the Ouachita Mountains. When we first moved here, an internet search for hiking in the Ouachita Mountains turned up very little, which is still the case 8 years later. We hike a lot in the Ouachita Mountains and take a lot of pictures; this site is a way of sharing some of that experience. It has no purpose other than fun and to encourage hiking in these beautiful mountains.

Jeff Hackett Photography

Jeff Hackett Photography

Early on my focus was more about hiking and climbing than photography, but through the years my priorities have changed from physical challenges to esthetic journeys. More and more I wanted to savor being surrounded by the beauty, power, and subtleties of nature and convey those experiences through my photography. I enjoy the meditative process of creating an image and trying to get in tune with my surroundings, this helps me get past the nice documentary snapshot stage and into creating more meaningful images that may generate more questions than they answer. It is the quest for capturing Nature s mysterious perfection that keeps me exploring day after day. That might seem like a lofty goal and I may never achieve it, but the joy is in the journey.

Exploring Light Photography - Images of Nature by Ken Bachofer

Exploring Light Photography - Images of Nature by Ken Bachofer

As a lifelong nature enthusiast I’ve been photographing the great outdoors for over forty years. Now, as a Minnesota Master Naturalist, my goal is to share the amazing beauty of nature with others through my photography. I donate my photographs for environmental fundraising and volunteer to give workshops on nature photography.Nature creates its own art which I strive to see and capture. I’m especially drawn to exploring the nuances of light on my subjects. Interesting shadows, the glow of backlit subjects, mist and fog, the iridescence of feathers or the spark in an eye are some of the things that inspire me to explore nature with my camera. High quality prints made on fine art paper are available in sizes up to 12x18
