This site features the work of the Photographic Artist Jenny Leathes MA, ARPS. Many of the photographs on this site explore the Cornish landscapes and the natural features within them, indeed the Cornish landscapes and Dartmoor continue to be major sources of inspirational images. Jenny was born in Hampshire in 1960. She has lived in Cornwall for 20 years. She is passionate about the Cornish landscape, especially the wild and lonely places. Originally trained as a potter, she now works part time as a youth worker and a self employed photographic artist and publisher. Her own experiences are at the core of the photographic work she produces. Jenny is a qualified mountain leader and offshore yachtmaster. She has the skills required to work in and enjoy visiting various environments. Her interests have fed her desire to be creative, by producing photographic images. The moors, mountains, the cliffs and sea are very important to Jenny and are a constant source of inspiration. Walking and sailing are part of her life. She owns a classic 25 wooden boat and is fascinated by the older craft that still sail and race off the coast of Cornwall and elsewhere. Jenny is happy to produce boat images on commission, working in colour or black and white. Currently Jenny is exploring the land in her own personal way. She focuses on documenting subjects in the landscape in a way that reveals their history, their links with humanity and the effects of the natural elements. Her first book, GraniteLand, is now published, having completed a project about the granite found along an ancient track, the Tinner s Way, in West Cornwall. The Cornish landscape and Dartmoor continue to be major sources of inspirational images. Her book GraniteLand is available on this site; all her photographs are available here in limited editions of five, produced using archival materials to ensure top quality images with a long life. Jenny is an active member of the Royal Photographic Society, and has gained an Associateship. In 2004 she gained a Master of Arts in Photography: Critical Practice, from Falmouth College of Arts. She has had a number of solo and group exhibitions in the Westcountry.

Paul Sansome - Landscape and Wildlife Photography - Winchester

I am a professional landscape and wildlife photographer based near Winchester in Hampshire, England. The inspiration for my photography comes from a love of both the tranquillity and wildness of nature. Whilst adoring every minute of my experiences in the wilder landscapes of Britain, such as the Scottish Highlands, many of my most successful images have been photographed much closer to home. Often there is some physical endurance required to obtain my photographs but this all adds to the sense of satisfaction when I view the images for the first time. I concentrate on selling my limited edition photographs direct to the public and also providing images for editorial, advertising and greetings card use. My international reputation was greatly enhanced by an invitation from Agfa to feature a portfolio of my photography on their website even though I have not used their films for many years and my photographs now hang in many countries around the world such as New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, Japan, Italy, Spain and France. Most of the photography that you see on this website was performed with a traditional SLR camera using 35mm slide film. In September 2006 I switched to shooting with a digital camera so more of these shots are now making their way on to the website. Whilst embracing some of the benefits of digital manipulation I am ethically opposed to presenting a scene in a way in which it was not seen when I stood in front of it. I am committed to providing the highest quality product so that the artwork that you buy will last a lifetime.

Brian Russell Hill - Yorkshire Images

An expanding collection of photographs, mainly with a Yorkshire theme. Yorkshire Images is designed, hopefully, to show visitors something of the Yorkshire countryside along with a sprinkling of other areas of the UK. The photographs are a personal selection and many are of places which I particularly like and enjoy. There are currently over 2500 images available to view with new ones being added on a regular basis, so please do come back and visit again. I hope the photographs convey something of the beauty of Yorkshire and the Dales to the many who have never seen them, and bring back happy memories to those who have moved away or visited in the past. Photofan - A gallery of Black & White and Colour photography

Black and white and colour photography with galleries of panoramic landscape plant flower and car photographs. I enjoy taking pictures, I guess I m a Photofan . I started this site in October 2000 as a way of letting more people see my photographs. It has grown steadily as I ve added more pictures. They are grouped to reflect subjects that I am currently working on, or things that I feel I m going to photograph more of in the future. I d like Photofan to be an image rich site with a minimum of text. The images on this site are taken in a variety of ways, some on film, some using digital cameras. I used to print black and white photos in a darkroom but never really enjoyed it. Now I use a computer for all of my image manipulation and printing. Computer imaging is cleaner and more sociable, colour printing is easier but the best part is you can save an image before it s finished and return to work on it whenever you want. I enjoy photography much more as a result. I ve been scanning 35mm film using a Nikon Coolscan III and medium format using an Epson Photoperfection 1200 for some time. However I ve recently switched to using digital cameras a Nikon CoolPix 5000 and a Canon 10D . This has made photography more immediate, and even more enjoyable. I m producing more finished photographs now than I ever did when I had a darkroom. The Photofan site is created using Dreamweaver and the photographs and graphics are prepared and optimised for the web using Photoshop and Fireworks.

He became interested in Photography in 2001, and began specialising in landscape and fine art images. In 2007 he graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA in Photography.
